Human resource is different from other resources like land and physical capital in the following ways (i) From the perspective of economic development, human resource exhibit multiple importance i.e. human resource act as both producers as well as consumers. Details about MGNREGA-2005 are given below: (i) Any person who is above the age of 18 and resides in rural area is entitled to apply for work. (iii) If work is not provided within 15 days, applicants are entitled to get an unemployment allowance i.e. one-third of the wage rate for the first 30 days, and one-half thereafter.
