1 Annex 4 referred to in Chapter 6 Sectoral Annex in relation to Article 61 Sectoral Annex on Electrical Products Part 1 Scope and Coverage 1. This Sectoral Annex applies to conformity assessment procedures for all electrical products, which in and the Philippines respectively are subject to conformity assessment procedures conducted by conformity assessment bodies, as set out in the laws, regulations and administrative provisions of each Party specified in Section 1 of Part 2 of this Sectoral Annex. 2. For the purposes of this Sectoral Annex, the criteria for registration shall be consistent with the criteria for conformity assessment bodies operating certification of products, as provided for by International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). 3. It is understood that the term amendment referred to in Part 2 of this Sectoral Annex includes the following cases where: (a) a Party entirely or partially changes its applicable laws, regulations and/or administrative provisions listed in Part 2 of this Sectoral Annex, whether or not their titles are changed; (b) a Party repeals its applicable laws, regulations and/or administrative provisions listed in Part 2 of this Sectoral Annex and adopts new laws, regulations and/or administrative provisions substituting for the previous laws, regulations and/or administrative provisions, whether or not the previous titles are changed; and (c) a Party incorporates the whole or a relevant part of its applicable laws, regulations and/or administrative provisions listed in Part 2 of this Sectoral Annex into other laws, regulations and/or administrative provisions. 646
