1 From the Desk of Don Robinson, Executive Director I hope everyone has a wonderful summer that allows you to spend time with family and friends. Our Whiskerino and Hatterino event at the Gilman Ranch on July 5 th will be a fun event to lead into the festivities on July 6 th to celebrate Banning s 100 th birthday. See the attached flyer in this newsletter or go to for a list of the events on the 6 th. We are designating July and August as membership drive months for the Banning Chamber of Commerce. We have been holding more ribbon cuttings and mixers and would like to plan for more events. Doing more events requires a larger base of membership. We are asking you as a member to send us names of business owners that you feel would benefit from chamber membership. To receive updates on events, please read the events updates that Suzanna sends out in the newsletter and event updates. You can also sign up to receive text messages on your phone by texting bngchamber to You will receive notices of chamber events one day prior to the event as a reminder tool. We are also doing a spotlight on business every week to be sent to all members via constant contact, posted on our webpage, and on our facebook page. Three ways to get information out about your business. Call Suzanna to set up a date for your business spotlight to go out. Business to Business Connection is now held every Wednesday Morning at 7:30 AM at The Lakes 5801 Sun Lakes Blvd in Banning. We meet in the upstairs conference room and The Lakes provides coffee, juice and pastry. Great way to start the day and stay connected with local businesses. 7 Banning Stagecoach KOA Mixer June 20, 2013 Banning Stagecoach KOA Mixer was a huge success with over 40 in attendance. Johnny Russo of Russo s Italian Kitchen provided all the delicious food. There were amazing door prizes, some consisted or $50 gift cards to local restaurants. KOA also provided facility tours, all in all this was a fun filled evening.
