2 Executive Summary Current Status On August 1, the voted overwhelmingly 409 to 4 to pass HR 6599, The Military Construction/Veterans Affairs Appropriations Act. The Senate companion bill,, has been reported out of the Senate Appropriations Committee but has not been approved by the full Senate. The -passed bill (HR 6599) contains $628.7 million for Army National Guard military construction, which is $89.3 million above the request of $539.2 million. HR 6599 also contains $142.8 million for Air National Guard military construction, which is $108.4 million above the request of $34.3 million. Below you will find detailed information regarding Army National Guard and Air National Guard projects. Please note: all projects listed below are contained in either the -passed version of the bill or the bill reported out of the Senate Appropriations Committee. Any project listed could be removed from the bill prior to final passage.
