RESIGNATION ACCEPTED BARBARA HAMILTON COUNTY JUDGE Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to accept the resignation of Barbara Hamilton from the Montgomery County Historical Commission. 8. REPAYMENT APPROVED TAMINA WATER/SEWER PROJECT COUNTY ATTORNEY Motion by Judge Sadler, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve repayment of HUD funds in the amount of $112,427.58, as required by 24 C.F.R , for the failed 2001 Tamina Water/Sewer Project. Contingency will be the funding source. 9. RESIGNATION ACCEPTED CARRIE JAMES COUNTY JUDGE Motion by Commissioner Doyal, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to accept the resignation of Carrie James from Montgomery County Child Welfare Board. Motion carried.

7 Page 7 of APPOINTMENT APPROVED DUANE HAM COUNTY JUDGE Motion by Judge Sadler, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to approve the appointment of Duane Ham to fulfill the unexpired term held by Carrie James. This position will expire September REQUEST APPROVED ESTABLISH 2015 BUDGET COUNTY JUDGE Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Judge Sadler, to approve the establishment of the 2015 Budget starting with the existing budget amount plus whatever increases are necessary for mandatory increases i.e.: Debt Service and Other. 12. REQUEST APPROVED DETENTION POND COUNTY JUDGE City Councilman Mr. Guy Martin spoke on what the City of Conroe is doing pertaining to this issue. He would like to work with the County to come up with an idea (smaller detention ponds) that would be amenable to both parties. Judge Sadler suggested Mr. Martin run it past the council to maybe hire the engineering firm jointly. Commissioner Doyal suggested adding a clause pertaining to ongoing maintenance of the potential ponds. Commissioner Meador suggested they get Mark Mooney s office involved and Mark could be the point-man for the County. Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve hiring an engineering firm to study and establish more reasonable criteria for detention pond size in Montgomery County. 13. PURCHASE APPROVED MEDALLIONS/KEY CHAINS DWI AND DRUG COURT Motion by Commissioner Doyal, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to approve the purchase of medallions and key chains from the Drug and DWI Court Supply Budgets for program participants at a cost of $2, The Commissioners Court hereby grants authority to accept donations in the future. 14. FUNDS ACCEPTED OCDETF SHERIFF Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to accept an additional $13, in funds for the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) Strategic Initiative Agreement between the Montgomery County Sheriff s Office and the DEA for Fiscal Year Funds are to be allocated to REQUEST APPROVED SALARY UPGRADES/TRANSFER OF FUNDS SHERIFF Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Judge Sadler, to approve the following: i. Upgrading the salary grade of a Montgomery County Sheriff s Office Detention Officer from Grade 8 to Grade 9. The position upgrade has been reviewed and approved by Human Resources. ii. Transferring $51, from the Sheriff s salary funding line to County paid Detention Officer positions below the minimum salary requirement for a salary Grade 9 position. The adjustment in salary will not affect the current salary structure. The Montgomery County Sheriff s Office has 122 County paid Detention Officers and three contract positions that will receive an increase of $ in salary. AGENDA ITEM 13A WAS DEFERRED.

8 Page 8 of REQUEST APPROVED CLOSE SOUTH REGIONAL LIBRARY LIBRARY Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to close the South Regional Library on Saturday, May 17, 2014, and authorize the Library Director to monitor conditions related to accessibility at Mitchell Library on May 17, 2014, and adjust operational hours as needed to address conditions associated with The Woodlands Ironman Competition. 17. GRANT SUBMISSION APPROVED INDIGENT DEFENSE OFFICE OF COURT ADMINISTRATION Motion by Commissioner Doyal, seconded by Commissioner Rinehart, to approve submission of Grant Application for an online Indigent Defense system to the Texas Indigent Defense Commission in the amount of $285, with no County match required and authorize Judge Alan B. Sadler to sign and execute Grant submission documents on behalf of Montgomery County. 18. REQUESTS APPROVED USE OF FUNDS BUILDING MAINTENANCE Motion by Commissioner Rinehart, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve the following: a. All funds received from recycled scrap metal to be deposited into ; and b. Allow any unused funds in account to be carried-over into the next fiscal year. 19. CONTRACT APPROVED NEGRETE & KOLAR ARCHITECTS PURCHASING Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve the contract to Negrete & Kolar Architects, LLP for Architectural Consultant Design Services for US-CBP Federal Inspection Service (FIS), Project # at the Lone Star Executive Airport, in the amount of $241, To be funded from Blackforest pre-paid rent for the Lone Star Executive Airport. Award previously made in Commissioners Court on April 7, UPDATE ACCEPTED TEXAS COUNTY AND DISTRICT RETIREMENT SYSTEM AUDITOR Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve accepting the reported update on the State of the Texas County and District Retirement System. 21. REPORT ACCEPTED SHERIFF S SALARY BUDGETS AUDITOR Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to accept the report on status of salary budgets for the Sheriff s Department. 22. REQUESTS APPROVED PAY OFF OF COMPENSATORY TIME AUDITOR Motion by Judge Sadler, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve the following: a. The payoff of all Compensatory time of current exempt employees; and b. The practice of paying off Compensatory time of employees as they become exempt.

Amendment to Occupancy Agreement between Montgomery County, Texas and Montgomery County Women s Center for lease of space in the North Montgomery County Community Center. b. Amendment to Occupancy Agreement between Montgomery County, Texas and Montgomery County Youth Services for lease of space in the East Montgomery County Community Development Center. c. Amendment to Occupancy Agreement between Montgomery County, Texas and Montgomery County Youth Services for lease of space in the West Montgomery County Community Center. d. Amendment to Occupancy Agreement between Montgomery County, Texas and Coat of Many Colors Ministries for lease of space in the Lone Star Community Center. 24. REQUESTS APPROVED LEAGUE LINE ROAD EXTENSION PROJECT COUNTY ATTORNEY REAL PROPERTY Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve the following: a. Order accepting Donation Deed for two tracts of land known as Parcels 6 and 6A of the League Line Road Extension Project and authorizing Commissioner Mike Meador to sign for the Acceptance of the Donation Deed. b. Order authorizing payment, accepting General Warranty Deed for a tract for the League Line Road Extension Project and authorizing Commissioner Mike Meador to sign for the Acceptance of the General Warranty Deed. 25. AMENDMENT APPROVED AIRPORT PROJECT PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT COUNTY ATTORNEY Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve Amendment #1 to the Texas Department of Transportation Airport Project Participation Agreement.
