Great Summary of Political Economy By Adam Glesser This is a very good introduction into the theories of political economy. It covers classical and neo-classical theories, as well as Marxian and Keynesian critiques. Notably missing is Polanyi. The Theory Behind the Economy By Travis This book is a little dated. **However,** understanding the 'theory' behind interpretations of how political institutions interface (or interlace) with economic processes - and vice versa - is quintessential for the Political Economist.
