1 Fourth Estate Determination to Effect MK-Ultra Gate Accountability Alive and Well at ABC News and Former President Bill Clinton Recommends Coalition Partners Work Together to Resolve the MK-Ultra Gate Scandal It s inconceivable what s going through the operating minds of U.S. political, military and intelligence leaderships given what s occurred since the mid-february epiphany and a series of public and private sector accountability initiatives were launched. The most vocal and who stayed on message throughout the last seven months are America s mainstream news agencies. They were not only deceived and manipulated since 2006, they now feel offended that Obama et al. didn t heed their repeated warnings that if outstanding issues weren t addressed then the MK-Ultra Gate scandal would go public. 7 Scare tactics to disincentivize the coalition going public has been tried twice before; but they are nothing more than self-serving. Both are documented in The President's Job Action Plan Joint Session Speech & MK-Ultra Gate as follows: Vice-President Biden on the President s instruction not only filled the speech with communiqués, he wasted no time when it started. The first involved a shameless scare tactic to try and prevent MK-Ultra Gate publicity, generating the message that triggering a historic political crisis would make America s problems worse. [ ] The President s argument, however, contains a false premise - that antagonizing Beijing would cause instant, protracted and severe impairments to the U.S. economy. Academics and political economists have contended since the mid-2000s that like the NATO-U.S.S.R. conflict there is a stand-off between American and China; that their economies are so inter-dependent that neither can afford any disruption to the status quo. The counter argument made is this: The more likely outcome of a severe crisis in White House, Pentagon and CIA trust and confidence is that all the divisions, tensions and bickering that plague American politics will soften and those who stand diametrically opposed to each other will come together, join forces during the healing period, for the sake of the country; that the calamity will force everyone on both sides of the ideological isle to look introspectively at that which has produced such political paralysis it paves the way for Chinada to dominate this century. This raises two questions: (i) what kind of democracy do Americans want; one that hides serious transgressions of the law from its citizens when transparency is a hallmark of the agreement between government and the

And (ii) should important accountability agencies address systemic dysfunctionalities, malfeasance and impropriety by themselves - go it alone without the aid of a multitude of public and private sector organizations that have a vested interest in reforming that which led to egregious and protracted abuses of power. The first and only other time Mr. Clinton said anything about the MK-Ultra Gate scandal was on June 30th as documented in CNN Exercises its Fourth Estate Responsibilities During an Interview with Former President Clinton. If he wants to work together then he ought to undertake measures behind the scenes to procure the resolution of outstanding issues. Simply replicating the talk methodology of conflict mediation helps no one and certainty does nothing to protect his wife. The former President s contribution to the discussion and debate about the scandal comes one day before the U.N. General Assembly begins its annual week-long conference.
