QUESTIONS FOR ASSIGNMENT Q1. Explain the essential features of indemnity with the help of relevant provisions of Indian Contract Act, What are the distinguishing features between Indemnity and Guarantee? Q2. Define the Contract of Bailment. Discuss the rights and duties of bailor and bailee. Q3. What are the different modes of dissolution of partnership firm? Q4. Discuss the meaning of Caveat Emptor with the help of leading cases. Discuss exceptions if any to this rule. Q5. In what respects a holder differs from a holder in due course? Discuss in detail the rights and privileges of a holder in due course. 4 BALLB - II SEMESTER HISTORY II PAPER CODE- 106 OBJECTIVE: The focus of History II is to look at modern times in India, the developments of modern legal procedures, laws and institutions and how they impacted the Indians and their old systems. The emergence of present judicial system can be traced to the historical development in colonial India. The paper looks at the framing of Indian constitution. The paper ends with post colonial developments in India, looking up some of the current events of significance. ASSIGNMENT QUESTIONS; Q 1.
