1 FILE NO. 08 ORDINANCE NO. 6-1 [Planning Code - Valencia Street Neighborhood Commercial Transit District Zoning Control Table] 2 3 Ordinance amending the Planning Code to adopt the zoning control table for the 4 Valencia Street Neighborhood Commercial Transit District, which was deleted 5 inadvertently from Ordinance No. -, the Article 7 Reorganization Ordinance; 6 making environmental findings and findings of consistency with the General Plan, and 7 the eight priority policies of Planning Code, Section 1.1; and adopting findings of 8 public convenience, necessity, and welfare under Planning Code, Section 302. Findings (a) The Planning Department has determined that the actions contemplated in this ordinance comply with the California Environmental Quality Act (California Public Resources 18 Code Sections 000 et seq.). Said determination is on file with the Clerk of the Board of 1 Supervisors in File No. 08 and is incorporated herein by reference. (b) On February 2,, the Planning Commission, in Resolution No.1847, adopted findings that the actions contemplated in this ordinance are consistent, on balance, with the City's General Plan and eight priority policies of Planning Code Section 1.1. The 23 Board adopts these findings as its own. A copy of said Resolution is on file with the Clerk of 24 the Board of Supervisors in File No. 03, and is incorporated herein by reference. 2 1 (c) Pursuant to Planning Code Section 302, this Board finds that this Planning Code 2 Amendment will serve the public necessity, convenience, and welfare for the reasons set forth 3 in Planning Commission Resolution No.1847 and the Board incorporates such reasons 4 herein by reference. 5 (d) The text proposed in this ordinance was originally included in Board File No when it was introduced at the Board of Supervisors, but was inadvertently removed 7 through the legislative process due to a drafting error. This proposed Ordinance is intended to 8 correct for that omission. Section 2. Enactment occurs when the Mayor signs the ordinance, the Mayor returns the ordinance unsigned or does not sign the ordinance within ten days of receiving it, or the Board of Supervisors overrides the Mayor's veto of the ordinance. Section 4. Scope of Ordinance. In enacting this ordinance, the Board of Supervisors intends to amend only those words, phrases, paragraphs, subsections, sections, articles, numbers, punctuation marks, charts, diagrams, or any other constituent parts of the Municipal Code that are explicitly shown in this ordinance as additions, deletions, Board amendment additions, and Board amendment deletions in accordance with the "Note" that appears under the official title of the ordinance.
