18 18 Some days my day consists of taking a bus load of kids for a bush trip, cooking kangaroo tail and bush tucker, and listening to dreamtime stories.. In these instances, I still can't believe that this is my job. Such a great opportunity to learn and grow. I've been given a skin name- Nangala, which is connected to Emu and water dreaming. My Warlpiri is still very rusty, but I know, 'yes, no, good, bad, come here, go away, and later,'.. I guess it's a start. Although there are challenges, I'm surprised at how much my degree has enabled me to overcome them. I'm also learning so much on the job too. Lauren Pollock July 12, 2016

26 Conor was 16, on an international volunteering trip when his passion for social justice was first ignited. After three years of Australian based activism and international volunteering, Conor realised he was as passionate about the medium of photography as he was about the issues he was documenting. Conor returned to Australia where he gained a Bachelor of Development Studies from the University of Newcastle while also working in the community sector, primarily with homeless youth. These experiences provided Conor with the strong foundation that informs his work as a visual storyteller. 26 July 12, 2016
