Before conflict 11,000 refugees and asylum seekers registered with UNHCR of whom 700 were in resettlement pipeline

15 Recent Developments: Libya 20 April - Global Solidarity Resettlement Initiative is launched. Initial pledges of 8,000 places needed - For refugees/asylum seekers displaced from Libya (5,500 places). - Refugees in Egypt in protracted (2000 places) New cases/claims leaving Libya (non-libyans) Expedite those already in resettlement pipelines.
