2 selected programmes and projects in 2007 i n 2007, the International Aid Division of the Austrian Red Cross (ARC International Aid) supported the most vulnerable people either financially, in kind (provision of relief goods) or by deploying staff u in cooperation with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC); u in cooperation with the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (Federation); u bilaterally through our programmes and projects in focus regions. Our bilateral programmes and projects has been implemented in the following focus regions: East Africa, Southern Africa, South Asia, South East Asia, Eastern Europe/Western Balkans. Thematically, ARC International Aid concentrated on water/sanitation (WatSan) and health programmes and projects as well as on capacity building of local Red Cross and Red Crescent societies in least and less developed countries (Africa, Asia) and Eastern Europe/Western Balkans.
