I would like to thank our Nominating Committee (David Minton, Chairperson) for their valiant efforts to solicit nominees. As there is no excess of candidates in any slot, the standard procedure is to approve by affirmation. To cast your vote of yea (yes) or nay (no), please simply send an message to David (dminton591@gmail.com), or you may voice your affirmation at the May meeting. If you wish to nominate any additional candidates, you may do so by sending to David as well. You'll see that the proposed Dean is yours, truly, for another term. I am excited about this opportunity, and now that I have cut back my work responsibilities (no more 70-hour work weeks!), I am eager to put much more energy into this role going forward. I want to continue our efforts on website re-design, Operating Procedures updates, reaching out to the wider community for collaborative efforts, and engaging young people. Christine is well known in the Handbell world with performances across the US and abroad. She has many published arrangements and videos, has directed numerous festivals and workshops, and continues to tour on a regular basis.
