2 Quantcast Measure Guide Quantcast Measure What is it? As one of the most widely adopted direct audience measurement services, Quantcast Measure provides website owners and app publishers with a free, easy and accurate way to better understand their audiences worldwide. Network Site 1 Site 2 Who can use it? Any content owner can measure an audience for free whether it s a network, website, app or individual content such as widgets, videos, ads and more. Any interested party can also access information about website audiences for free at quantcast.com. Site 3 Content Site 4 What does it measure? A broad range of audience information and insights within an intuitive interface: traffic patterns, visitor numbers, mobile web usage, demographics, geographic origin, interests and much more. What can be measured? Entire networks composed of individual websites, distributed content and more. Websites online, mobile web Individual website pages Distributed content across different pages and websites, e.g., photos, videos, and more. Apps ios, Android Ad units and campaigns Custom audience segments: measure any combination of websites, pages and/or media assets to learn about audiences interacting with different types of content.

3 Quantcast Measure Guide Using Quantcast Measure Quantcast Measure can help you understand: The top sites across the web and the mobile web, ranked by the number of people visiting. How much traffic has grown or declined for a website over time. Audience insights for a specified website: learn the demographic composition of the audience, what interests they have, their related business information and their geographic location. Global reach and visitation for every country in the world for individual websites. The breakdown in audience visitation across desktop, mobile web and apps, within a unified view. Traffic stats, return rates and device information for ios and Android apps. Comparison of traffic trajectories and reach for up to four individual sites within the same chart. How much mobile web traffic a site gets.

4 Quantcast Measure Guide Quantcast Measure 1 Quantified Sites Direct measurement underpins the accuracy of traffic counts and audience insights. With the Quantcast tag, we re able to directly measure and report audience activity, making Quantified measurements reliable and accurate. Web destinations with the Quantcast tag on their network, site, pages and/or digital media assets are referred to as Quantified. Look for the Quantified icon on site profiles: 1 Non-Quantified Sites Sites without the Quantcast Measure tag (non-quantified sites) are not directly measured. As a courtesy, Quantcast provides rough audience estimates based on samples. Because samples generally do not provide significant coverage of every consumer online, accuracy is limited by the magnitude of available data across the web.

For the U.S., Rank is based on the number of people who visit each site (Quantified and non-quantified) within a month for each country. For all other countries, Rank is based on the number of people who visit each Quantified site within a month. 3. Profile Navigation Toggle between Mobile Web traffic, Demographics, Geographics, Business, Interests/Lifestyle, and more. 4. Audience Data A wealth of specific audience information appears as you customize views. 5. Compare Site Type in a site URL to compare traffic stats within the same chart. Compare up to 4 sites.

6 Quantcast Measure Guide Quantcast Measure in Real-Time Real Time With the real-time feature of Quantcast Measure, Quantified publishers have visibility into measurement events within seconds of them happening. This includes number of visitors, location of visitors, how visitors are getting to the site and what they are viewing.

Site Traffic Go to the site profile, select the Visits tab and adjust the time frame. Cite in the following way: (Company Name) has (# Visits here) in (timeframe here) according to Quantcast.
