2 1 The Club refers to Dunes Club, located in Civil Line, Near Circuit House, Bathinda. This club is affiliated with various reputed clubs in India; Club members can enjoy the association with them. 2 Family For the limited purpose of the rules and regulations of the Club membership, would be interpreted to include: Individual Spouse Dependent Children (un-employee/un-married & below the age of 25 years). Note:-Parents and any other blood relative are not included in the family. 3. Dependent/children of the members between the age of 10 to 25 years shall be entitled to use the club for the Sports facilities only. The facilities of the Bar & Cards shall not be allowed to them. They shall have no right to bring guest to the club he/she will have to carry his/her dependent membership card at all times and will need to indicate his/her membership number while signing. Children below the age of 10 will have to be accompanied by parents while visiting the club. 4. Membership Types There are six types of membership: (a) Ex-Officio members/ Honorary members (b) Regular members (c) Officer members (Serving or Retired) (d) Dependent members (e) Corporate members (f) Temp members a) Ex-Officio Members: - That membership may be conferred on an out standing personality of extra -ordinary status or in consideration of special services to the club for long, shall be the ex-officio members of the club entitled to avail the facilities of the club. The Club President (Ex-officio Deputy Commissioner) shall always be Hony. Member. Honorary Members: - Persons of eminence and/or of good social position may be conferred with honorary membership of the Club; decision in this regard shall be taken on the recommendation of the executive committee of the club. b) Regular Members: - All civilian existing members previously on rolls of the club as well as fresh admitted members shall constitute regular members of the club. c) Officer Members: - All Central/State Government officer (Serving or Retired) having class I Gazetted are authorized to get benefit of the club, screening by competent authority of the club. d) Dependent Members:- Dependent children when married or got employment or attain the age of 25 years he is not authorized to use the club facility, in this circumstances he/she can enroll to be a independent member of the club with a very attractive concession fee, by the recommendation of parents. e) Corporate Members: - A group of five corporations/industrial & banks concern are entitled to seek corporate Membership of the club whereby designated Chief Executive of the Corporation/Industrial house/concern shall enjoy the facility of the club as member during his tenure and this membership shall automatically stand transferred to the new incumbent and so on, but subject to a letter allowing the same by the Company and agreeing to responsible for all dependants and the payment of all their bills. The subscription fee of the corporate membership shall be higher then those of other categories and shall be determined by the Executive Committee of the Club. The President/Executive Committee by 2/3 rd majority may waive this condition on exceptional cases. f) Temp membership:- Official holding transferable job in Government Undertaking and Govt. Officials wish to seek admission up to three years are acceptable on predetermined payment as time to time approved by the club executive committee. The President/Executive Committee may ignore/waive this condition in exceptional cases. 5. Wife of a member will be automatically treated as full member of the Club of the same category as her husband without payment of ordinary Club subscription. She will pay for the games and other subscriptions. She will, however, not be entitled to vote. In case of death of a member, his widow, if desirous of becoming a member, shall be admitted as member without payment of admission fee. 6. The President will also have power to admit/refuse to admit any application of any category without assigning any reason and observing the procedure prescribed. Any person, whose applica tion for membership has once been rejected, shall not be eligible to apply again for membership up to three year. 7. Admission and subscription rates The admission fee and quarterly subscription shall be charged at the rates so determined by the executive committee of the club form time to time.

Re-admission A member whose name has been struck off from the membership due to non-payment, he shall be eligible for re-admission as a new member provided that before applying he clears up all his previous accounts of all subscriptions and other bills and pays fine/fresh admission fee as applicable time to time along with his application which must be made within three months of the termination of his membership. The President/Executive Committee may remit the readmission fee in exceptional circumstances. However the management have the right to accept or reject the case or re-admission as per circumstances. 9. Admission fee Refers to the fee for obtaining membership of the club is non-refundable. The membership cannot be sold or transfer his membership inheritance 10. The club management will issue a membership card to the Principal members and separate card for dependent as per the application, written request on the prescribed form. Members shall carry their membership card while visiting the club. Cards shall be presented at the entry/reception desk on arrival also presented while signing food credit bill at the point of sale. 11. The membership card is not transferable and shall be used only by the person whose name and photograph appear on the card. 12. Quarterly Subscription refers to the subscription to be made for every quarter maintaining the validity of the membership irrespective of the usage of the facilities. 13. Temporary Subscription refers to the subscription to be made for every year to maintaining the validity of the membership, while member beyond Bathinda a period of six months. Persons residing in Bathinda shall not ordinarily be eligible for temporary membership. 14. Tariffs For use of different facilities-in the Club are separately given. Any other charges not presently stated, will be notified time to time to the members. The charges for use of different facilities in the club shall be revised time to time as decided by the Management Committee. 15. Mode of Payment The mode of payment through Cash/demand draft/account payee cheque or any other facility like credit card net banking on availability. Payment of bills will be cleared within 30 days of receipt of bills surcharge will be charged extra after every quarter on Delay/non payee members. In addition to the quarterly charges will have to pay the annual luxury tax including for the current financial year. Nil balance is to be maintained. For all practical purpose, including payment, the Club will hold the Principal member accountable. 16. Guests Every member who introduces a guest will have to pay the prescribed guest charges and both the member and guest will need to sign the entry book. The introducing members will be responsible for his/her guest(s) strictly observing the club rules and regulations, and must not leave the club premises before his/her guests leave. Guest must be accompanied by the members. 17. Upon a person ceasing to be a members, he/she will return all membership cards to the management and clear all dues. 18. Every member shall inform to the General Manager/Manager of the club if any change in his/her address or telephone number and ID or family. 19. Dress Code Members/guests will have to be appropriately dressed while entering the club premises at all times. Members will be notified if they are required to adhere to any specific code for any special occasion of the club. Proper workout/sports clothing and shoes must be worn at all times while using the gymnasium, sports and spa facilities. Members must be properly attired while using the Bar and Restaurant. Gentlemen/boys are not permitted to wear slippers and shorts. 20. General Consideration The management reserves the right to modify, revoke or add to these rules from time to time in absolute discretion. Notification in this respect will also be displayed on the club notice board. The Dunes Club Bathinda notwithstanding anything stated above, shall not incur any liability to the member if it is not in a position to fulfill its obligation by reason of war, civil commotion, political disturbances, riots, force majeure or Act of God.
