1 Kentucky Right to Life 2014 PRIMARY ELECTION PAC ALERT VOTE PRO-LIFE ON TUESDAY, MAY 20th. TO FIND OUT ABOUT YOUR DISTRICTS AND WHERE TO VOTE, VISIT THE VOTERS INFORMATION CENTER AT: THE CHOICE IS CLEAR FOR PRO-LIFE KENTUCKIANS VOTE PRO-LIFE ON MAY 20TH, 2014 TO RETAIN SENATOR MITCH MCCONNELL, WHO: is strongly supported by National Right to Life PAC is strongly supported by Kentucky Right to Life PAC has fought tirelessly in defense of the most vulnerable members of the human family,.those who care first about innocent human life recognize that your continued leadership in the U.S. Senate is irreplaceable. ~ Doug Johnson, NRLC Legislative director and recipient of the prestigious 2010 Life Prize Award. is a key supporter of every major pro-life initiative to come before the U.S. Senate during his tenure. was instrumental in blocking some of President Obama s most radical nominees to the federal judiciary. is the single greatest obstacle in the U.S. Senate to the relentless efforts of an avidly pro-abortion President, backed by powerful liberal elites from Hollywood to New York City, to radically expand the power of federal bureaucrats, pack the U.S. Supreme Court with robed social engineers, and strip away protections from unborn children and from the medically vulnerable. is the Senate s chief defender of the First Amendment right of citizen groups to communicate with the public about the positions and voting records of those who hold or seek public office, and a courageous foe of attempts to curb that right under the guise of campaign finance reform. is a top target of pro-abortion groups Planned Parenthood, EMILY s list, and NARAL. 0 percent rating by NARAL. PRO-LIFE LEADERS COMMENTS ON SENATOR MITCH MCCONNELL It isn t easy fighting on the front lines against Barack Obama and his allies in Congress every day, but someone has to do it. There is nobody that s done it more effectively, who asks for less recognition for his work, than Mitch McConnell. ~ Pro-Life Governor Mike Huckabee Leaders like Mitch McConnell have the courage to stand up for conservative principles, even when it means standing up to the leader of the free world. ~ Pro-Life Governor Rick Perry Encouraging medical research and protecting the sanctity of life are not mutually exclusive goals. ~ Senator Mitch McConnell in his 2007 Floor speech promoting life-affirming alternatives to killing embryonic human life for research. Paid for by the KY Right to Life Assn. Political Action Committee: Susan Kenney, Treasurer, 201 Club Oak Ct., Lou., KY 40223

6 Kentucky Right to Life Association Political Action Committee 134 Breckinridge Lane Louisville, KY Non-Profit Org. U.S. Postage Paid Louisville, KY Permit #1207 ELECTIONS MATTER! In 2014, pro-life citizens have a tangible opportunity to oust current proabortion leadership at the state and federal levels. Before you vote, it is important to consider the pro-life integrity of individual political candidates. Perhaps it is even more imperative that you consider how your vote for an individual candidate affects the current Democratic majority and its pro-abortion leadership. For over 40 years the Kentucky Right to Life PAC has remained a bi-partisan organization and this PAC Alert affirms we remain so today. It is a regrettable fact, however, that the two relevant political parties are fundamentally at odds on the issue of protecting innocent human life in principle and in practice. Republican Platform:...we assert the inherent dignity and sanctity of all human life and affirm that the unborn child has a fundamental individual right to life which cannot be infringed. We support a human life amendment to the Constitution, and we endorse legislation to make clear that the Fourteenth Amendment s protections apply to unborn children. Democratic Platform: The Democratic Party strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman s right to choose a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay, and we oppose any and all efforts to weaken or undermine that right. In the words of a pro-life Democrat on the Kentucky House floor on the last day of the 2012 legislative session: The only way we re going to pass pro-life legislation is if Republicans take over the House and we elect some pro-life leadership. JUDICIAL RACES Note: As a result of our review, the judicial candidates on the following list are considered pro-life, and worthy of your support and vote. DISTRICT SUPREME COURT Michelle M.
