Examination of reports as lead committee a) Proposal for a Regulation of the European Parliament and the Council on the law applicable to contractual obligations (Rome I) COM(2005) / /0261(COD) Rapporteur: Mr DUMITRESCU (PSE, RO) - Consideration of compromise amendments Mr DUMITRESCU (PSE, RO) proposed a vote in Committee on the compromise amendments on 26 June Given the progress of talks with the Council, Mr LEHNE (EPP-ED, DE) and Ms WALLIS (ALDE, UK) suggested that the Committee postponed vote on the compromise amendments until after the summer recess, in order to allow for further discussions on Article 5 of the draft Regulation.
