1 KENYA ELECTRICITY GENERATING COMPANY LIMITED KGN-ADM REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR DESIGN AND SUPERVISION OF OFFICE FIT OUT AND CONSTRUCTION WORKS AT KENGEN STIMA PLAZA AND AREA STATIONS 3 RD APRIL, ADDENDUM NO 3 Amendments to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for Consultancy Services for Design and Supervision of Office Fit out and at KenGen Stima Plaza and Area Stations are: PAGE NO. 16 appendix ref 31 ITC clause Team Leader CURRENT IN THE TENDER Award for each lot shall be independent of other Lots. Consultants may be awarded one or more than one Lot based on the tender evaluation results. The Team Leader must have the relevant degree and valid membership certificate of a Professional body, minimum years of experience is 10 years. Where lacking is a zero. The leader must demonstrate experience, skills and expertise in leading the feasibility and projects of a similar nature, risk analysis and allocation of at least 10 years. 32 Calculations of professional fees will be guided by the following clauses Ministry of Conditions of Engagement and Scale of fees AMENDMENTS TO THE TENDER Award for each lot shall be independent of other Lots. Consultants may be awarded one or more than one Lot based on the tender evaluation results and implementation will in phases in no particular order as per KenGen s priority based on budgetary and procurement planning. Team Leader The Team Leader must have the relevant degree and valid membership certificate of a Professional body, minimum years of experience is 15 years. Where lacking is a zero. The leader must demonstrate experience, skills and expertise in leading the feasibility and projects of a similar nature, risk analysis and allocation of at least 15 years. This page has been expunged from the tender document. There shall be no scaling of fees, since this is a competitive tender and the final cost shall be determined during negotiations.

2 33 Defects Expunged from the tender document 18 Eight (8) key personnel for both all in house or joint venture 54 & Office Fit out & Remodeling of Record Centers in Gitaru, Olkaria, Sondu and Kipevu Refurbishment of Area libraries in Gitaru, Olkaria, Sondu and Kipevu. Key personnel provided by bidders bidding alone or in joint venture consortiums must be available throughout the project period. Any replacement will have to be of equal qualification, experience and will be vetted by KenGen representatives for approval. Area record centers and libraries have been expunged from Lot 3 as follows but the specifications remain the same: Lot 4: Office fit out,remodeling of Record Center & Refurbishment of library in Gitaru Lot 5: Office fit out,remodeling of Record Center & Refurbishment of library in Olkaria Lot 6: Office fit out,remodeling of Record Center & Refurbishment of library in Sondu Lot 7: Office fit out, remodeling of Record Center & Refurbishment of library in Kipevu.
