His vision for entrprepenurial collaboration between the two countries has driven the Club for a decade and made it the important bilateral institution that it is, and will continue to be. Yours sincerely I want to congratulate the chairman, advisory board, and members of the Australia China Entrepreneurs Club on their ten year anniversary. The Australian Chinese community is served by many professional and business associations, but the Entrepreneurs Club in many ways sums up its ethos and interests. It is a community known for its commitment to entreprenurship and which recognises the value of business and personal relationships. Such relationships are essential in furthering the important commercial, social and cultural connections that exist between Australia and China. Andrew Stoner MBA, B.Bus Congratulations to Australia China Entrepreneurs Club (ACEC) on achieving 10 years since being established on 12 October Since that time, ACEC has done much to facilitate high level business and personal relationships between Australia and China. Of course, such relationships are key to the continuing strong growth in two way trade, as well as cultural exchanges, between our two great nations. In this, the Asian Century, ACEC was one of the first such Australia-China business forums in Australia, and congratulations must go to Richard Yuan for his foresight in establishing this collaborative body, based upon friendship as well as business. Over the last 10 years, ACEC has played host to many high-level events for its members, bringing together business, political and cultural leaders from both nations. Last year s very successful Qipao Business Week is just one example of the events and opportunities ACEC has facilitated over the past decade. To Richard Yuan and team, my fellow Advisory Board members, and all ACEC members, congratulations and best wishes for the next decade and beyond! Hon. It is a great milestone to reach 10 years since being established in 2007, and growing stronger each year contributing positively to the business and cultural communities in Australia. Chairman, Richard Yuan, and his team at ACEC are to be commended for their success in growing the organisation to what it is today, achieving a strong membership of more than 1000 elite members. Over the years, the ACEC has played a significant role in bridging Australia and China through its business and cultural forums both here in Australia and in China. Many of the ACEC activities and events have helped facilitate closer ties between the people in Australia and China. They have led to continuing strong growth in cultural exchange, two way trade, business and personal relationships amongst the people in the two countries. The ACEC Qipao Business Week, of which I have particularly enjoyed in past years, and many of the past ACEC business and cultural events, have inspired and benefited many people who attended them. Delegates have found them to be always creative, colourful, fun and informative. The ACEC forums and events often provide beneficial networking and business opportunities by successfully bringing people from different backgrounds together including, politicians, government officials, business men and women from diverse industries. To the ACEC Chairman and founder, Richard Yuan, ACEC team and members I wish you continued success and achievement for the coming years on this very special occasion of your 10th anniversary.
