Short description of main scientific results and its confirmation (by awards, citations, development of international projects etc.) Major scientific and innovation achievements a) The research on the subject of political elite and birocracy in the context in democratic reform has led to the creation in the Republic of Moldova of a new scientific direction in the political sciences elitologic studies. There has been argued the fact that elitologic studies must be treated as a standalone discipline in the system of political sciences. b) The conducted research on evolution of the social stratification in the Republic of Moldova had at the base a sociologic questionnaire which highlighted the opinion of the population concerning the factors of social, political and economic change and their impact on the social structure. For the first time in

One of the main results of the research was the scientific proof that in the Republic of Moldova there is no middle class and the society remains unstable. c) There was released the series Migration: issues and opportunities. The results of the conducted research were published thus highlighting solutions for the main current issues of our country concerning migration. In a relatively short period of time there have been released four scientific works and another one is in the process of being published in the period of 040. d) Several scientific works have been released as part of a series of scientific works in English. These works being published in a language of great international importance present an opportunity to shows on a greater scale the efforts of the scientific community and of the authorities of the Republic of Moldova along the process of European integration. There are presented in a scientific manner the solutions for different issues of this process and the European aspiration of our country. The works have been presented to the local embassies and to the European Committee. The next volumes of the series are planned to be published in 04.
