Dissertation Research An Empirical Exploration of Information Processing Focusing on Attitude Accessibility, Cross-Activation, and Informational Context. This research is designed to map how individuals process political information. Changes in the accessibility of respondents attitudes are measured as a result of a specified stimulus, or prime. The measure of attitude accessibility in the wake of a given prime allow for the study of the cross-activation between respondents attitudes concerning political actors and those dealing with political institutions, as well as the 4
