On September , the defendant, from a moving car, shot into a crowd that was holding a vigil near E. 113 th Street. 3-year-old Major Howard was in a parked car and suffered a fatal gunshot wound. A second victim, then 24, was also struck by a bullet but survived. 2 CR Barker, Pamela A.21-D Major Trial Cleveland Division of Police Collins, Anthony, Jr. Brunson, Nigel On October 14, 2016, in the parking lot of Hot Sauce Williams, defendant Collins, 20, robbed two victims of a hoverboard they were selling through the Offer Up app. After robbing the victims, Collins shot the male victim in the face and shot the female victim in the foot. They both survived. On April 20, Collins pled guilty to Attempted Murder and Aggravated Robbery. Co-defendant Brunson is being held in Cuyahoga County jail, charged in connection with the murder of Melissa Brinker at the Cooley Lounge. Sentencing for Collins is scheduled for 9:00 a.m. Future Court Action: Sentencing 5/22/ CR Collier-Williams, Cassandra 23-A Major Trial Cleveland Division of Police Brown, Ronald Brown, Veronica Ellis, Charlesanna On November 1, 2016, Ronald Brown, 35, fatally shot his stepfather Tyrone Pennyman, 45, on Panna Lane in Cleveland. Defendants 36-year-old Veronica Brown, Ronald s sister, and their 59-year-old mother Charlesanna Ellis, were aware of the shooting and failed to report the incident. 3 Future Court Action: Trial 5/22/ CR Corrigan, Brian J.22-A ICAC CCPO - Internet Crimes Against Children Bingley, DaShawn C. On February 1, 2017, the Ohio Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force determined that the defendant was using public WIFI services at Bravo Cucina Italian Restaurant in Woodmere to download, possess, and view child pornography. The defendant, 34, was part of a sub-contracted cleaning company hired to clean the restaurant during the overnight hours. On April 19, the defendant pled guilty to 16 counts including Pandering Sexually- Oriented Matter Involving a Minor, Illegal Use of a Minor in Nudity-Oriented Material, and Possessing Criminal Tools. 4 CR Sutula, John D. 23-B Economic Crime Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office Moore, Gregory J. On July 10, 2012, Moore, 43, an attorney, placed three phone calls to the Cuyahoga County Old Courthouse stating that a bomb was set to explode at 11:30 a.m. The defendant also called bomb threats to the Geauga County Courthouse in January 2012 and Lake County Courthouse in May In a separate incident, the defendant provided false information to law enforcement regarding his whereabouts on March 24, 2013, the day his client Aliza Sherman was killed. On May 1, Moore pled guilty to Inducing Panic and Falsification. Sentencing is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Future Court Action: Sentencing 5/23/ CR Barker, Pamela A.21-D Economic Crime Cleveland Division of Police Ortegon, Sandra In 2015 and 2016, the defendant, 52, was the Cleveland Catholic Charities office manager. She embezzled funds from the Immigration Legal Services Program by turning in the checks and money orders, and keeping the cash payments. On April 25, the defendant pled guilty to Grand Theft. She is ordered to pay restitution in the amount of $32,886. Sentencing is scheduled to begin at 9:15 a.m. Future Court Action: Sentencing 5/23/2017 Page: 4 of 5

5 CR Russo, Nancy Margaret 18-C General Felony Lakewood Police Department Sami, Ammar The 21-year-old defendant provided false information to the Lakewood Police Department and the FBI regarding the disappearance of Roaa Al-Dhanoon.
