Practice Direction 3E of the Civil Procedure Rules states that Unless the court otherwise orders, a budget must be in the form of Precedent H annexed to this Practice Direction. It must be in landscape format with an easily legible typeface. However we understand from some of our customers that in addition some Judges are also requiring that the form is in Microsoft Excel format. We have raised this with the Civil Procedure Rule Committee who commented that There has never been a requirement that Microsoft excel is used. The issue is that the judiciary sometimes like to remodel aspects of the budget in preparation for the hearing and may have asked for the form in electronic format. We recommend that you satisfy yourself that the form is suitable for submission to the court in the matter you wish to use it for. When more information is available we will update our customers. COMPANIES HOUSE UPDATE PENDING 26 MAY 2015 As a consequence of the Small Business, Enterprise & Employment Act 2015 which was given Royal Assent on 26 March 2015, Companies House has made changes to the following forms.
