4 55 SD-1/SD-2/SD-3 56 SE-1/SE-2/SE-3 57 SF-1/SF-2 58 SG-1 59 SH-2 60 SJ-2 61 SK-1/SK-2/SK-4 62 SM-1/SM-2/SM-3/SM-4/SM-5 63 SN-1/SN-2/SN-3/SN-4 64 SR-1/SR-2/SR-3 65 C-51/C-52/C T-51/T-52/T R-51/R-52/R I-51/I-52/I DV-1/DV-2/DV-3 70 to streamline the citizenship process and make it more efficient and equitable, 71 to expand annual immigration quotas, 72 to secure our borders TITLE II: VISAS 75 SECTION 2001: NON-IMMIGRANT VISAS 76 The length under which all non-immigrant visas (defined in Title I, Section Two, Clause 1) are 77 valid shall be extended by 50% of their current length of validity under law. 78 In cases under which visas are valid indefinitely, said visa shall remain valid indefinitely. 79 Current non-immigrant visa holders shall not be subject to this extension of legal validity. 80 SECTION 2002: IMMIGRANT VISAS 81 The length under which all non-immigrant visas (defined in Title I, Section Two, Clause 2) are 82 valid shall be extended by 50% of their current length of validity under law. 83 In cases under which visas are valid indefinitely, said visa shall remain valid indefinitely. 84 Current immigrant visa holders shall not be subject to this extension of legal validity. 85 The H-1B Visa (which allows U.S. employers to employ foreign workers in specialty Filename: 2018_az_bill_pitts_joseph_664.pdf Page 4/5
5 86 occupations) quota shall be henceforth abolished TITLE III: CITIZENSHIP AND QUOTAS 89 SECTION 3001: PROCESS 90 The minimum time under which an individual may receive citizenship for the United States of 91 America shall be decreased from seven (7) years to four (4) years. 92 SECTION 3002: IMMIGRATION QUOTAS 93 The maximum amount of immigrants accepted into the United States annually shall be 94 increased from 675,000 individuals to 1,000,000 individuals TITLE IV: BORDER SECURITY 97 SECTION 4001: SPENDING 98 The annual budget for the United States Department of Homeland Security shall be increased, 99 in the fiscal budget of 2019, by 5% (totaling $46,304,000, annually). 100 The Department of Homeland Security shall be directed to increase Border Patrol Agent pay 101 with the majority of these new funds. 102 SECTION 4002: TECHNOLOGY 103 The Department of Homeland Security shall be directed to invest in technology (including but 104 not limited to autonomous drones, motion sensors, vehicles, tranquilizers, etc.) in order to 105 defend our borders from illegal immigration and terrorism TITLE V: MISCELLANEOUS 108 SECTION 5001: FINANCIAL IMPACT 109 The annual budget of the United States federal government shall be increased, due to this bill, 110 by no more than $2,205,000, It is predicted that the economic growth fostered and created as a result of an expanded visa 112 program and increase of immigration quotas shall outweigh the slight increase in the federal 113 budget and far exceed it. 114 SECTION 5002: IMPLEMENTATION 115 All clauses in this bill shall take effect, as is customary of American procedure, ninety (90) days 116 following the passage of this bill into law.
