2 b) Migration: state of play and next steps 1 = Exchange of views The Committee was updated on the recent developments and the foreseen handling of this item in the Council. The Commission drew attention to its upcoming reports on the topic. The French delegation debriefed the Committee on the summit of 28 August in Paris. c) Other items in connection with the Council meeting The Presidency informed the Committee that, at the Commission's request, there will be an information point on the EU-Canada PNR (Passenger Name Record) judgement. 3. Presentation of the agenda of the Council meeting (General Affairs) on 25 September 2017 The Committee took note of the agenda. The Presidency announced the addition of an item on European Council follow-up. Any other business COREPER (PART 2) - Information from the Commission on OECD enlargement (requested by the Commission) The Commission informed the Committee about the ongoing discussions on OECD enlargement and recalled the 2007 COREPER-level agreement on this issue. - Customs Union modernisation (requested by Germany) The German delegation informed the Committee about its views as regards the discussions on Customs Union modernisation and requested that a discussion takes place at political level as regards the EU's relationship with Turkey.
