13 We changed power relationships! Renegotiation of the foreign debt: We savedus$ 8 billion. Renegotiation of oil contracts: US$ 2.5 billion of additional income for investment. Repatriation of international reserves: more than US$ 2 billion for production.. Socialization of banking profits: US$ 386 million for the poorest population in the next three years. No more freezing of accounts or bailouts with everyone s money. Our new Constitution forbids them! 10

We have overcome a historical discrimination: there are no longer differences between mestizos, indigenous people and Afro-Ecuadorians. 14
18 Towards the elimination of child labor! 19 A cultured people is a free people! With free higher education, we doubled the access of Indigenous people and Afro-ecuadorians to Universities. We doubled investment in research, science, and technology. The new universities, starting with Yachay, project us towards the world. 16

29 More Basic Services in the Countryside Between 2006 and 2012: We increased access to excreta disposal services (from 66% to 81%) The percentage of homes with solid waste disposal increased (from 23% to 39%). If all homes had access to services and good housing conditions, structural poverty would be reduced in half. Co-responsibility of decentralized autonomous governments is required. 26

32 We are history and memory Ecuador has become one of the major tourist destinations in the world. Paja Toquilla (Straw) weaving has been declared a World Cultural Heritage. Every 12 days, an Ecuadorian film has received an award in festivals around the world; 30 awards in Before there were 18 thousand registered heritage assets. Now we have more than 60 thousand. 29

41 A more efficient state at the service of citizens We eliminated 59 public entities without clear competencies. We created 8 coordination sectors. We strengthened 16 public research institutes. We established 16 regulatory and control agencies and 2 new superintendencies. We recovered 24 public companies for the sovereign management of our resources. 38
42 We build the State in the territory There are 9 planning zones in Ecuador Public Ministries Zone District Circuit It was established 140 districts and circuits, to provide basic services like health, education, social care, security, justice an risk prevention. 39
43 We have brought the State s services closer to citizens 5 centers for the ECU 911 Integral System (Guayaquil, Quito, Cuenca, Machala and Ambato). 486 new citizens services security services in UVC and UPC (Community surveillance and police units). 328 new health services services implemented in hospitals and health centers, with the participations of primary care workers (TAP). 95 new educational services services implemented in educational units family educators hired by the MIES (Ministry of Social and Economic Inclusion). 40
