Australia Day BBQ at Botanic Gardens Great support from club members for the Australia Day BBQ 14 club members, 5 family members, a former club member and Sandy Farmer and family from Aussie Home Loans all turned up to help. We made close to $2000 so an excellent fundraising effort for the club. Club members and family also turned up on Sunday morning at the Bundaberg Library to move almost 300 boxes to storage for our next book sale. Once Ian s truck was full the boxes went everywhere they could Dave showed how easy it is when you can stack on pallets and use our forklift. Sesame Workshop introduced Raya last year with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to teach the TV show s millions of young viewers in Bangladesh, India, and Nigeria about sanitation and hygiene.
