Lesson One I Worship God When I Am Thankful! Have fun doing these activities as a family: Bible Story: Exodus 15:1-21 Miriam was Moses sister, and they sang a song to God when He parted the Red Sea to save their people. This week, read the Song of Moses and Miriam in Exodus 15:1-21 and then talk about how they worshiped God by being thankful to Him. Activity 1: Picture Book Grab a book with lots of pictures, and see how many things your children can point out to be thankful for. Talk about why we should thank God for each thing. Activity 2: Thank You Card Have your children make a thank you card for God. They can color the front and then you can help them write things inside that they want to thank God for. I Worship God When I Am Thankful!

Parents, do these activities with your children! I Am Thankful For... Have your child color the pictures above. As they are coloring, have them tell you why they can be thankful for each picture. Use this key to help you: House place to live, keeps you dry & warm in the winter, cool in the summer. Friends make you feel good, play with you, someone to keep you company. Bike a fun way to get exercise, a way to get to places quickly, something you can do with your friends. Weeds give us something to do in our gardens, they keep us busy, some of them look pretty. COLOR the instrument! We are in a series about worship called, Center Stage Jr. In this series we are learning that worship is showing God that we love Him. Color the musical instrument and talk about some ways to worship God (music, song, clapping, etc.) I Worship God When I Am Thankful!
