MEMORANDUM To: From: Subject: Mayor and City Council Kelvin Knauf, Interim City Manager Jay Trahan, Assistant City Manager Consider a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Orange, the Orange County Drainage District and ITEX concerning drainage improvements for Cypresswood Village Phase I subdivision and Cypresswood Village Phase II subdivision Date: October 23, 2018 The City of Orange, the Orange County Drainage District and ITEX are working together on a memorandum of understanding that will improve the drainage through the Cypresswood Village Phase I and Cypresswood Village Phase II subdivisions. As of this writing, we are still working on the wording of the agreement. Normally, we don t like to place items on the agenda without backup information; however, in this case, we are working diligently to get the wording to where it is agreeable to all parties and hope to have the agreement to you before the Council meeting. We will be prepared to discuss the memorandum of agreement, whether or not the wording has been worked out, at the meeting. Page 34 of 34
