Single District 10 Treasurer s Report 3 rd Cabinet Meeting Munising, Michigan February 6, 2010 The Lions of Michigan Single District 10 checking account began the 2009-10 fiscal year with a balance of $23,911.00 as of July 1, 2009. The total income for the fiscal year was $18,361.49 with disbursements totaling $16,218.27 leaving an ending balance of $26,054.22 as of February 5, 2010. As of February 5, 2010, thirty-two (32) of the sixty (60) Lions Clubs of Single District 10 has paid their 2 nd Half 2009-10 District & State Dues. There are outstanding receipts totaling $4,578.00 from twenty-eight (28) Lions Clubs that have not paid their dues. The invoices for the 2 nd Half 2009-10 Dues were mailed to all Lions Clubs on January 16, 2010. The Single District 10 Cabinet made three (3) donations totaling$338.00. 1 st Cabinet Meeting Fines Bay Cliff Health Camp Capital Campaign --------$20.00 2 nd Cabinet Meeting Fines Bay Cliff Health Camp Capital Campaign --------$18.00 Budgeted Donation Lions of Michigan Leadership Institute---------- $300.00 The Hearing & Speech Restricted Account began the fiscal year 2009-10 with a balance of $1,243.48; an additional $450.00 has been received from 5 Lions Clubs (Negaunee $100, Rudyard $100, Sugar Island $100, Perkins $50, Mackinac Island $100) and an additional $0.32 in interest was earned leaving a balance as of February 5, 2010 of $1,693.80. The Mints Distribution & Sales Restricted Account began the fiscal year 2009-10 with a balance of $2,159.25. An additional $617.99 has added to the account this fiscal year along with $0.67 in interest leaving a current balance of $2,777.91 as of February 5, 2010. These funds are received for warehousing and distribution of the Lion Mints and 5% gross sales of the mints. The six-month Certificate of Deposit that was renewed on December 3, 2009 for 6 months. The current interest rate is 0.30% down from 0.70% and is currently valued at $10,478.86 as of February 4, 2010. The interest is compound monthly and the Y-T-D interest is $5.33. The CD matures on 03-Jun-2010. The tax forms have been signed and submitted to the Federal Government. Audit of the Single District 10 financial books still need to be completed for the 2008-09 year. The previous auditor Alfred LeMaire is unable to conduct the audit this year. Page 2
