In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 3 of the Census Law, His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to order as follows :- I. This Order may be cited as the Census (Industrial Production) Order, '955. 2. A census of industrial production (herewith referred to as " rlle Census ") shall be taken in Cyprus during the remaining part of the year 1955. 3. Returns for the purpose of the census shall be made by those employers of gainfully occupied labour and by those self-employed persons, companies, partnerships, co-operative societies and by those corporations, who may be required to do so, in respect of the matters set out in thc Schedule hereto. SCHEDULE. (I) In respect of labour employed (including selgemployed persons and working proprietors) :-The number of persons employed, by sex, kind of work and wages and salaries paid. (2) In respect of material production in thc year 1954 :-Thc nature of work done ; values of plant, machinery and vehicles acquired and disposed of ; cost of new buildings, repairs and mairitenaiice of buildings ; cost of materials, electricity, fuel and power purchased ; rent paid ; amount paid for work given out and other services rendered by other firms ; amount charged for work done for other firms, quantities and values of products finished but yet unsold ; quantities and values of work in progress ; stocks of materials and fuel ; quantities and values of goods produced and sold. In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 4 of the Census Law, His Excellency the Governor hereby makes the following regulations :- I, These regulations may be cited as the Census (Industrial Production) Regulations, 1955, z. In these regulations- " Census Order '' means the Census (Industrial Production) Order, '955 ; " census information '' means information in respect of the matters set out in the Schedule to the Census Order. 3. Every person being a person required by the Census Order to furnish census information shall- (U) fill up the forms set out in the Schedule hereto (or such of them as may have been supplied to him by any Census Officer or forwarded through the post) answering, to the best of his knowledge and belief, the several particulars therein required ; (b) comply with any instructions endorsed on, or supplied with, any such forms and forward the forms duly completed to the Superintendent of Census, Secretariat, Nicosia, on the date specified in such instructions or such other date as the Superintendent may direct by notice to be published in the Gazette ; (c) give to any Census Officer, in connection with the forms, such further information as may be required by any such officer. It is hereby notified for general information that, upon the direction of His Excellency the Governor under section 43 of the Police Law, Police Fire Brigades have been established in the towns of Famagusta and Limassol. In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 13 of the Cinematograph Films Law, His Excellency the Governor, with the advice of the Executive Council, has been pleased to make the following Regulations :- I. These Regulations may be cited as the Cinematograph Films (Censorship) (Amendment) Regulations, 1955, and shall be read as one with the Cinematograph Films (Censorship) Regulations, 1953 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Regulations ), and the principal Regulations and these Regulations may together be cited as the cinematograph Films (Censorship) Regulations, 1953 and 1955. 2. Regulation 6 of the principal Regulations is hereby repealed and thc following Regulation substituted therefor :- 6. There shall be paid into the Treasury in advance by every applicant a fee of ten shillings in respect of every film submitted for examination and approval by a Censorship Comrnittec, and the official receipt for such fee shall be attached to the application by the applicant : Provided that- (0) no fee shall be paid- (i) in respect of any film which does not exceed one thousand and two hundred feet in length in thc standard gauge of thirty-five millimetres or six hundred feet in the narrower gauges of sixteen or cight millimetrcs, and depicts or relates to comics, reviews of world news, musical extracts, cartoons, educational or cultural subjccts ; or (ii) in respect of any film taken in Cyprus of less than thirty-five millimetres in width ; and (6) a reduced fee of three shillings shall bc paid in respect of each film relating to advertising matter and not cxceeding onc hundred and twenty feet in length whether such film be imported from abroad or taken in Cyprus and an additional fee of one shilling shall be paid for every sixty feet or part thereof in excess of one hundred and twenty feet. These bye-laws may be cited as the Villages (Administration and Improvement) Yeroskipos (Amendment) Bye-laws, 1955, and shall be read as one with the Villages (Administration and Improvement) Yeroskipos Bye-laws, 1951 (hereby referred to as " the principal Bye-laws ") and the principal Bye-laws and these bye-laws may together be cited as the Villages (Administration and Improvement) Yeroskipos Bye-laws, 195 I and 1955. 2. Item 51 of the Second Schedule to the principal Bye-laws is hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of the figure 2 under the column " Fees for any quantity in excess of the minimum weight. Paras per oke or part thereof" and the substitution therefor of the figure I. 3. Bye-law 185 (I) of the principal Bye-laws is hereby amended by the deletion therefrom of the fees 20/-, IOO/- and 20/- of items (b), (i) and (j) and the substitution therefor of the fees 60/-, zoo/- and IOO/- respectively. In exercise of the powers vested in him by section 4 of the Bakeries (Night Work) Law, 1950, His Excellency the Governor has been pleased to order that, for the purpose of meeting the present demand for bread, the restrictions imposed by the said Law in respect of work in bakeries shall be suspended. 2.
