Evolution and Human Behavior. (Sole-authored) MANUSCRIPTS IN PREPARATION Morality Matters: On the Moral Psychology of Conflict and Cooperation. Synopsis: Manuscript surveys the role and implications of morality in international relations, particularly as viewed through the lens of dominant IR paradigms such as realism and liberalism. Proposes that IR scholarship suffers from a narrow and psychologically bankrupt notion of morality that can be remedied by incorporation of new findings from the emerging field of moral psychology. (Sole-authored) Evolution and Revolution in the Study of War in Political Science. Synopsis: Evaluates influential theories of the causes for war and examines the possibilities for cross-disciplinary exchange between political science and theories of warfare generated in the fields of anthropology, economics, and psychology.
