ROLL CALL OF AUTHORTY - Those present were: Chairperson Heidi K. Williams, Vice Chairperson Jan Kulmann, and Members Sherry Goodman, Adam Matkowsky, Eric Montoya, Sam Nizam, Jacqueline Phillips, Jessica Sandgren, and Joshua Zygielbaum. STAFF MEMBERS PRESENT - Kevin S. APPROVAL OF MNUTES- October 24, 2017 MOTON WAS MADE BY MEMBER NZAM AND SECONDED BY MEMBER MONTOYA TO APPROVE THE OCTOBER 24, 2017 MARJUANA LCENSNG AUTHORTY MNUTES AS PRESENTED. MOTON PASSED UNANMOUSLY EXCEPT THAT MEMBER SANDGREN ABSTANED FROM VOTNG. 5. BUSNESS A. Consideration of a Modification of Premises submitted by Rocky Road Remedies, LLC dba Rocky Road Thornton (Quadrant 2). 6. OTHER MATTERS None Kristen Rosenbaum, City Clerk, presented a diagram and information on the proposed modification of the premises. Ms. Rosenbaum answered a question from the Authority regarding when the modifications were made. Woods Ordinance previously Presenter(s): Kristen Rosenbaum, City Clerk \W-1 introduced by: SYNOPSS: The Authority will consider a modification of premises submitted by Cannabis King, LLC dba Green Dragon Colorado and determine if the modification complies with the requirements of City Code Section 42-720. Green Dragon Colorado has submitted complete plans of the proposed modification (Attachment A) and has submitted the appropriate fees to the City for the modification. The City Development, Fire, Legal, and Police departments have reviewed the modification and determined it meets City requirements. Section 42-720(c) of the City Code states that, "after a license has been approved, but has not yet been issued, changes to the premises cannot be made without the prior written consent of the Authority." RECOMMENDATON: Staff recommends Alternative No. 1, approval of the modification of premises for Green Dragon Colorado because it meets the requirements of the City Code and all applicable State laws and Rules and Regulations pertinent to a modification of the premises. BUDGET/STAFF MPLCATONS: None ALTERNATVES: 1. Approve a motion approving the modification of premises. 2. Do not approve the modification and Green Dragon Colorado will not be allowed to make changes to their premises. BACKGROUND CANAL YSS/NEXT STEPS/HSTORY): (includes previous City Council action) On April 25, 2017, the Authority approved the issuance of a retail marijuana license to Cannabis King, LLC dba Green Dragon Colorado. On June 28, 2018, Green Dragon Colorado submitted an application to both the City and the State to modify their premises.
