ELECTION CALENDAR AT A GLANCE CONSOLIDATED PRIMARY ELECTION: FEBRUARY TH, AUGUST PETITION CIRCULATION: First day to circulate petitions for established political parties and nonpartisan municipalities (90 days before last day to file). 19 CANDIDATE FILING BEGINS: First day for established political parties and nonpartisan municipalities to file nomination papers. NOVEMBER CANDIDATE FILING ENDS: Last day for established political parties and nonpartisan municipalities to file nomination papers. REFERENDA: Last day to file petition for public question (certain exceptions apply). 3 VOTE BY MAIL- APPLICATION: First day any registered voter within the confines of the U.S. to make application by mail or in person to the election authority for an official ballot. (90 days prior to primary) OBJECTIONS: Last day to file objections to nominating petitions for November 19- filing period. (filed within 5 business days after last day for filing) DECEMBER 5 10 20 LOTTERY: Last day to conduct lottery for November 19- filing period (conducted within 9 days following the last day of petition filing).
