A resolution approving the submission of an application and request for funding to the Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development for the Safe Routes to Public Places Program to improve pedestrian safety to the ne Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy School and the construction of a fully separated bicycle path on Loyola Drive from 32 nd Street to Joe Yenni Boulevard. Summary Ordinance No. 12,380, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive bid received from Command Construction, LLC in the amount of $1,515,555.00 for the construction of drainage improvements to University City and Audubon Place Subdivision areas Phase III (Tulane Drive from Kilgore Place to Houston Place and Kilgore Place from Tulane Drive to Northwestern Drive), State Project No. H010107, City of Kenner Project No. 2012-001-DR in accordance with Sealed Bid No. 18-6428 for the Department of Public Works. Ordinance No. 11,420 15-B. A resolution approving Amendment No. 2 to the engineering agreement with Digital Engineering & Imaging, Inc. dated December 4, 2013 concerning the installation of a new force main from Chateau Transfer Sation to Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 3 increasing the agreement amount by $5,759.00 and extending the term of the agreement by two (2) years. Motion by Councilmember Cline, Seconded by Resolution No. B-16909 15-C. A resolution approving Change Order No. 2 to the agreement with Crown Architectural Metal Co., LLC dated July 18, 2017 for an addition of 18 calendar days to the contract time for the roof repairs to Rivertown Main Theatre for the Department of Parks and Recreation. Motion by Councilmember Carroll, Seconded by Resolution No. B-16910 15-D. A resolution approving Change Order Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4 to the contract with Gottfried Contracting LLC dated May 31, 2017 regarding Sewer Lift Station Improvements at Ole Miss Drive and 35 th Street for a net increase of $20,319.54 and to add one hundred eight (108) calendar days for the Department of Public Works. Summary Ordinance No. 12,381, an ordinance authorizing the creation of the class of Deputy Chief of Administration of Fire Department. 16-B. Summary Ordinance No. 12,382, an ordinance authorizing a public hearing and approving the proposed FY 2018 Annual Action Plan of the Community Development Block Grant (CDGB) Program in the amount of $456,196.00 and the Home Investment Partnership (HOME) Program Grant in the amount of $176,000.00 for the Community Development Department. 16-C. Summary Ordinance No. 12,383, an ordinance amending the 2015/2016 and 2016/2017 Capital Budgets to reallocate $1,332,855 from funds received from BP Settlement for the reconstruction of new warehouse to provide funding for a Vacuum Truck, Bucket Truck and various capital needs. 16-D. Summary Ordinance No. 12,384, an ordinance ratifying the proposal from Safety National Casualty Company with an AM Best Rating of A (Excellent) for excess worker s compensation insurance for the period of July 1, 2018 through July 1, 2019. 16-E. Summary Ordinance No. 12,385, an ordinance ratifying the policy and rates for Commercial Liability Insurance Package for the City of Kenner for the policy year July 1, 2018 through July 1, 2019. 16-F. Summary Ordinance No. 12,386, an ordinance ratifying an emergency purchase of an air conditioning system for Kenner City Hall, Building A in the amount of $15,800.00 by Beacon Air Conditioning for the Department of General Services. 16-G. Summary Ordinance No. 12,387, an ordinance ratifying the purchase of a 5ft 550-780 Airvolution Shop Fan from Genuine Parts Company DBA Napa Auto Parts in the amount of $7,305.06 for the Maintenance Garage of the Department of Fleet Management. 16-H. Summary Ordinance No. 12,388, an ordinance authorizing the utilization of State Contract No. 4400006361 to purchase one hundred fifty (150) Active Shooter Body Armor and Accessories from Barney s Inc., Barney s Police Supplies in the amount not to exceed $50,000.00 for the Kenner Police Department. 16-I. Summary Ordinance No. 12,389, an ordinance accepting the responsive bid received from Lights on America, Inc. in the amount of $11,940.00 to furnish LED light fixtures for the Kenner City Park in accordance with Letter Bid No 18-1573 for the Department of Parks and Recreation. 16-J. Summary Ordinance No. 12,390, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive bid received from National Polyfab Co. to supply mesh roll wire, rebar, metal keyway and chairs on an as needed basis in accordance with Sealed Bid No. 18-6431 in an amount to exceed $30,000.00 for the Department Public Works. 16-K. Summary Ordinance No. 12,391, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive bid received from PCMG, Inc. to purchase NAS Storage for Kenner Television in accordance with Telephone Bid No. T-18-2591 in the amount of $6,957.00 for the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications. 16-L. Summary Ordinance No. 12,392, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive bid received from Rivertown Collision Center, L.L.C. for a two-year contract to provide automotive body and damage repairs on all city vehicles and equipment on an as needed basis in accordance with Sealed Bid No. 18-6430 in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00 for the Department of Fleet Management. 16-M. Summary Ordinance No. 12,393, an ordinance approving a resubdivision of Lots 8- A, 10-A, 14-A and 16-A, Square 102 into Lot 8-A-1, Square 102 Veterans Heights Subdivision and amending the City of Kenner s Official Zoning Map, Ordinance No. 11,062, Unified Development Code, more particulary rezoning new Lot 8-A1, Square 102, Veterans Heights Subdivision from C-1 Neighborhood Commercial and R-2 Two-Family Residential to C-1 Neighborhood Commercial. Summary Ordinance No. 12,394, an ordinance amending the 2017/2018 Operating Budget to budget funds received for building permit fees from the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport Expansion Program during the 2017/2018 fiscal year that were not previously budgeted and to amend court fine revenue. 16-O. Summary Ordinance No. 12,395, an ordinance amending Chapter 15, Section 56(a) of the Kenner Code of Ordinances, by adding No Parking signs on both sides of 42 nd Street, from Florida Avenue to Connecticut Avenue. 17.
