Virginia Elks Youth Camp BOARD OF DIRECTORS BUSINESS SESSION MINUTES OCTOBER 12, 2012 CALL TO ORDER: The regularly scheduled October 12, 2012 meeting of the Virginia Elks Youth Camp Board of Directors meeting was called to order at 4:05 P.M., President James Bonnell in the Chair. Robert Goolrick West Virginia State President, Carl Mooney MINUTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING: The Secretary requested a motion to approve the minutes as published as electronic copies have been sent to all Youth Camp Directors and the State web site. A hard copy is available from the Secretary on request should any person wish to review them. The motion was made by Past Camp President Margaret Sandy. The motion was seconded and the question approved. Thanking for use of camp. OUTGOING: Ten Thank you for Donation letters sent.

UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Nominations for 3rd & 4th Vice Presidents Nominated for 3rd Vice President, William Hussey by Karyn Swenor. Nominated for 4th Vice President, David White by Michael Haynes NEW BUSINESS: Secretary submitted reimbursement request for postage. Vice President Hall submitted reimbursement request for Camper Awards ELECTION OF OFFICERS: In that there was only one candidate for each office, a motion was made by Past Camp President Margaret Sandy that Secretary case a "Unanimous Consent Vote" in the affirmative for all candidates. The motion was seconded by 2nd Vice President Georgianna Knotts. The motion was approved. The Secretary then cast a vote in the affirmative for all candidates State Sponsor, Past Grand Exalted Ruler Lester Hess then installed all of the candidates. BENEDICTION: Given by Secretary GOOD OF THE CAMP: Sandy Hanlon of Loudoun Lodge presented the Camp with a donation of $1,000.00. CLOSE: There being no further business before the Board of Directors, the President proceeded to close the meeting at 5:10 P.M. Respectfully submitted Robert E. Ward Secretary
