REGULAR MEETING/WORKSHOP, BOARD OF EDUCATION, SOUTH ORANGETOWN CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 9, 205 Pupil Transportation WHEREAS the Board of Education of the South Orangetown Central School District publicly advertised a Request for Proposal for Pupil Transportation, in order to supplement current contracts, on October 2, 205. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject all proposals, waive any informalities in proposals and to negotiate any portion of proposals. The proposals were required to be received by November 5, 205, at 0:00 a.m. and were evaluated on a weighted system established by the District. AND WHEREAS the District is in receipt of two (2) proposals which were evaluated on a weighted system established by the District. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED based on the District s needs for Pupil Transportation, as well as transportation for field trips, sports trips and other transportation, the Board of Education agrees to award contracts for the 205-206 school year to Chestnut Ridge Transportation and Student Bus Company for supplemental transportation. See appended list for pricing. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the agreements are renewable annually upon review and concurrence of the Board of Education of the South Orangetown Central School District. B.
