STATE BANK OF INDIA, REGIONAL STATIONERY DEPARTMENT, CHENNAI TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLICABLE TO PRINTERS State Bank of India invites application from printers for printing and supply of Calendars for the year 2019 to the State Bank of India Branches and Offices in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry. Tenders shall be in two bid system i.e. Technical Bid (Cover-A) and Price Bid (Cover-B). Cover A should contain the Application Form along with relevant documents and Cover B should contain only the Price Bid. Both the covers kept in another cover super scribing "Application for Printing of Calendars 2019" should be submitted to the Chief Manager (Procurement), State Bank of India, Sixth Floor, Local Head Office, Chennai, 16, Collegelane, Nungambakkam Chennai 600 006 on or before 15.00 hours on 20.10.2018. Technical bids (Cover-A) received from all the bidders will be opened on 23.10.2018.at 15.00 hours for assessment of eligibility and qualification. It is up to the Bank's discretion to reject any Technical bid for non-satisfaction of Pre-qualification criteria. The Price bids (Cover-B) of only those who qualify in Technical Bid will be opened later. Applications received after stipulated time, will not be considered and the Bank will not be responsible for non-receipt or late receipt of any application sent by post/courier service. Printer will be engaged only for the purpose of printing Calendars for 2019. 2. Printer will have to procure all the materials for printing and supply of the quantity ordered and Bank will not supply any kind of material for printing and supply of Calendars. 3. The Bank places printing order for printing of Calendars with the lowest bidder. No printer shall decline any work order on the basis of quantity and amount of the order or otherwise. Bank reserves the right to reject the tender/tenders without assigning any reason. The decision of the Bank is final. 4. Transportation Charges for delivery of Calendars to Offices located in Chennai, Coimbatore, Madurai,Tiruchirapalli and Salem will have to be borne by the printer irrespective of their location. In case alternate arrangement is made by the Bank for transportation of Calendars, the order will be placed at the L1 rate' for printing of Calendar and payment will be made excluding the transportation charges. 5. Though the Proof(s) is/are approved by Regional Stationery Department, Chennai it will be the sole responsibility of the printer for any corrections remain unnoticed by this Department's staff while correcting the proof(s). 6. Supplies should be made on or before the due date as mentioned above. In the case of delay in delivery of Calendars, penalty at 5 % of total value will be recovered at the time of releasing payment.
7. Part deliveries will be accepted. However, payment will be made only after execution of the complete order. 8. The following documents/papers should be enclosed to the bills as a rule without any exception while submitting the bills for payment (i) Original Specimen (ii) Work Note issued by the Department (iii) Delivery Challan with acknowledgement of the Consignee. (iv) Approved Copy/Copies of the Proof(s) (v) One final printed specimens and (vi) Invoice / Bill incorporating Bank s GSTIN Number. 9. Printed material delivered by the printers with defaced printing/illegible printing is liable to be rejected and no payment will be released against those invoices / bills. 10. Settlement of Dispute: All disputes and differences of any kind shall be referred to the sole arbitrator, the Dy. General Manager & Circle Development Officer, State Bank of India, Local Head Office, Chennai-600006 and the decision of the arbitrator shall be final and binding. Arbitration is to be governed by the provisions of Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
