Recent News in Migratin The Ontari Immigratin Act, 2015 came int effect January 1, 2018 Fr the Ontari Immigrants Nminee Prgram (OINP), the jb ffer streams are nw a ne stage applicatin prcess and n lnger require a pre-screen f the emplyer r psitin. The emplyer must submit a cmpleted and signed emplyer frm and thrugh this, the emplyer attests that the OINP criteria has been met. The Act als creates a number f penalties fr vilatins f the OINP. Fr example, penalties include bth administrative and mnetary up t $150,000 fr each cntraventin f the OINP and bans frm using the OINP. Ideally, with these changes, the prcess shuld be easier.
Recent News in Migratin Ontari annunces increased allcatin fr 2018 OINP The OINP is nw accepting 6,660 immigrants in 2018 (600 mre than the 2017 allcatin), making it the largest in Canada. The OINP is accepting applicatins fr the fllwing streams: Emplyer jb ffers fr Freign Wrker, Internatinal Student, and In-Demand Skills; Ontari s express entry thrugh human capital pririties, French-speaking skilled wrker, and skilled trades; and thrugh the crprate and entrepreneur stream.
