Introduction Uvod The European Social Charter of the Generali Group makes reference to the relevant international texts UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights / International Labour Organisation rules the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights and the request for the implementation of a Charter of Fundamental Rights for Generali Group workers, as required by the Generali Group European Works Council (EWC) representatives. Moreover, it reinforces what is already envisaged by the Generali Group Ethical Code of May, 11 2004, with particular reference to the Section Relations with employees. By means of this Social Charter, the Central Head Office of Assicurazioni Generali S.p.A. (Parent Company) aims at reasserting some guiding principles on the safeguard of its employees and, in general terms, the Group image, which apply to every EU Member State where the Generali Group operates. Such an initiative confirms yet again the utmost care that the Group has always dedicated to the issues concerning human resources. (mati~na dru`ba) s pri~ujo~o Socialno listino navesti glavna na~ela za za{~ito svojih zaposlenih in splo{neje za varstvo imena Skupine v svetu. Na~ela bodo veljavna v vseh državah ~lanicah Evropske unije, kjer je prisotna Skupina Generali. Ta pobuda potrjuje visoko pozornost, ki jo Skupina Generali od nekdaj namenja tematikam, ki zadevajo njene ~love{ke vire.

1. Commitments 1. Obveze Having said that, the Parent Company is committed to implementing the Social Charter in every Generali Group company operating in the European Union in order to ensure full respect for: human dignity freedom equality solidarity the protection of health, safety and dignity of its employees in the workplace and full compliance with: the ban on child labour 1 the ban on any form of moral and sexual harassment and discrimination. Upo{tevajo~ zgoraj omenjeno, se mati~na družba obvezuje, da bo izvajala dolo~ila te Socialne listine v posameznih enotah Skupine Generali, ki delujejo v Evropski Uniji, da zagotovi spo{tovanje: dostojanstva ~loveka svobode enakosti solidarnosti za{~ite zdravja, varnosti in dostojanstva svojih zaposlenih na delovnih mestih in obenem, da zagotovi: prepoved dela mladoletnikov 1 odpravo vsake oblike diskriminacije in nadlegovanja, tako moralnega kot spolnega. 1 According to the International Labour Organisation (ILO) rules, the minimum age of admission to employment may not be lower than the minimum school-leaving age. 1 Pravila Mednarodne Organizacije Dela (MOD) dolo~ajo, da starostna meja za sprejem zaposlenega na delovno mesto ne sme biti nižja od starosti, pri kateri se zaklju~uje obvezno {olanje.

2. Aims 2. Cilji In accordance with national legislations, cultures and practices of the EU Member States where the Group operates, and in line with the autonomy that local companies have always enjoyed under the principles of the Generali Group, the Parent Company s goals in this Social Charter are the following: promotion of corporate dialogue at different levels and in different areas, while drawing inspiration from the EWC dialogue between the Central Head Office and workers delegates / representatives under the Agreement in force. Corporate dialogue is the sharing and exchange of information between company and workers representatives, with a view to consolidating and promoting mutual trust and a peaceful working environment to the benefit of workers and the Group companies professional and human development of all the Group employees by providing them with the necessary tools and training, in order to ensure suitable retraining in the event of corporate restructuring / reorganisation V skladu z zakoni, praksami in nacionalnimi kulturami držav ~lanic Evropske unije, v katerih deluje Skupina, ter v skladu z na~elom avtonomije lokalnih enot, ki ga Skupina Generali zgodovinsko uveljavlja, si mati~na družba s pri~ujo~o Socialno listino zastavlja naslednje cilje: spodbujanje socialnega dialoga na raznih stopnjah in obmo~jih, tako, da bo referen~ni model tisti dialog, ki se je razvil znotraj Evropskega Delavskega Sveta (EWC) med Centralno direkcijo in poobla{~enimi / predstavniki delavcev na podlagi veljavnega Sporazuma. Socialni dialog temelji na izmenjavi in posredovanju informacij med predstavniki podjetij in predstavniki delavcev za okrepitev in razvoj medsebojnega zaupanja ter vzpostavitev vedrega delovnega okolja v korist delavcem in podjetjem Skupine profesionalni in ~love{ki razvoj vseh sodelavcev Skupine tako, da jim nudi primerna sredstva in možnosti izobraževanja ali ustrezno profesionalno izpopolnjevanje v primeru prenovitve / reorganizacije podjetja

3. Implementation 3. Izvajanje With reference to Section 1. Commitments, the Parent Company undertakes to ensure compliance with the Charter in the event of actual or alleged violation. The Parent Company shall promptly exchange information with local Head Offices and the Secretary of the EWC Select Committee in order to identify measures to put an end to the situation / s clashing with the values herein described. Furthermore, the Parent Company shall act in order that the Group local Head Offices put into practice the aims listed in the previous Section 2. of the present Social Charter. This Social Charter is written in Italian and English language and disseminated at all Group levels in the respective languages of the EU Member States where it operates. Na podlagi to~ke»1. Obveze«se mati~na družba obvezuje, da bo jam~ila spo{tovanje Listine v primeru dejanske ali domnevne kr{itve njenih dolo~il s pravo~asnim posredovanjem informacij Krajevnim direkcijam in Tajniku Ožjega odbora Evropskega Delavskega Sveta (EWC), da bi se dogovorili o morebitnih posegih za odpravo situacije / situacij, ki so v nasprotju z vrednotami, zapisanimi v pri~ujo~i Listini. Poleg tega si bo mati~na družba prizadevala, da bodo Krajevne direkcije Skupine priznale cilje iz 2. to~ke pri~ujo~e Socialne Listine. Pri~ujo~a Socialna Listina je zapisana v italijanskem in angle{kem jeziku in razmnožena v raznih jezikih, na vseh nivojih znotraj Skupine v državah ~lanicah Evropske unije, v katerih deluje. 13
