High-Level Conference Strengthening transparency and accountability to ensure integrity: United against corruption Šibenik (Croatia), 15-16 October 2018 PRACTICAL INFORMATION Registration Delegations and specially invited participants should download the registration form online at www.coe.int/en/web/greco/go-for-zero-corruption-sibenik-croatia-15-16-october-2018 and send it by 10 September 2018 by e-mail to goforzerocorruption@pravosudje.hr. For Delegations it will be possible to register a total of four persons as part of the official delegation (Head of Delegation + 3). Delegations and specially invited participants are asked to register only once they have information about their itinerary. We kindly ask that each Delegation also register any additional persons travelling with the Delegation (e.g. Security Officer, Personal Assistant or others) who are not considered part of the official Delegation. Upon the online registration these additional persons must be registered under Rank as Other - not part of the official delegation (e.g. Security Officer, Personal Assistant et al.). Please note, that the additional persons will not be given an access badge and therefore do not have access to the Conference venue, Welcome reception, Special dinner etc. Regarding access for Security Officers (armed/unarmed) please see the Security section below. Arrival (and departure) at Split and Zadar Airports Delegates attending the High-Level Conference travelling by plane are advised to use Split International airport. Heads of Delegations of ministerial rank (and delegation members arriving together with him/her) and specially invited participants travelling either by regular or special flight to Split International airport will be provided with Meet and Greet/VIP arrival and departure services. 1

Further information regarding Meet and Greet/VIP services will follow to those concerned immediately after registration. Transfer of the Heads of Delegations and their travelling party to and from the airport (Split or Zadar) is the responsibility of the organisers. All other participants not travelling with Heads of Delegations of ministerial rank will transit on their own through the Arrival Hall in Split airport where a Croatian Chairmanship Welcome Desk will be at their disposal (only on 14 October 2018). To find our colleagues at the airport please go through the only exit at the airport (through Customs) look for a roll-up with the official logo of the Croatian Chairmanship where you will find our staff. This also applies for Zadar airport. Official logo of the Croatian Chairmanship: Accommodation (Heads of Delegation) Accommodation has been reserved for each Head of Delegation for two nights (14 and 15 October). The expense for this will be covered by the Croatian Chairmanship. Heads of Delegations will be accommodated at Hotel Amadria Ivan in walking distance from the Conference hall. Further information, regarding to which hotel each Head of Delegation and specially invited participant have been allocated will follow shortly. Check out time for both hotels is at 12.00 hours. Accommodation (other delegation members/participants) Accommodation for other delegation members will not be provided by the Croatian Chairmanship, but recommendations for accommodation are available. For 14-16 October 2018, block reservations at preferential rates have been made at Hotel Amadria Ivan. Conference venue The Conference venue is Conference Centre Šibenik which is located in the Solaris Beach Resort in Šibenik. The address is: Hoteli Solaris 86 22000 Šibenik. A maximum of four persons per Delegation (including the Head of Delegation) will have access to the Conference venue at any given time. Access is only given to persons carrying access badges or ministerial rank pins. Regarding access for Security Officers please see the Security section below. Interpretation Interpretation during the Conference will be available in the Conference room in English, Croatian and French. Transportation All transportation from and to airport and between venues will be provided by the organisers. Access Badges and Pins Access Badges should be collected Sunday afternoon (14 October 2018) at the Croatian Chairmanship Hospitality Desk in the lobby of the HOTEL AMADRIA IVAN and on 15 October 2018, before the Conference. Access badges for the whole Delegation can be picked up by a member of the Delegation or by Embassy employees. Due to security considerations all delegations members are required to wear visible access badges at all time. The following are considered as Heads of Delegations of ministerial rank: Ministers, Vice-Ministers, Secretaries of State and General Attorneys. Croatian Government Officers and Staff will wear access badges in a distinct colour. Security Due to security considerations, all delegation members are required to wear visible Access Badges at all times. Prior clearance for weapons carried by Security Officers travelling with Heads of Delegations to Croatia must be sought by notifying the organisers upon online registration. Upon online registration, it is therefore very important to provide contact information (name, phone number and email address) of the person responsible for the armed Security Officers. 3

Welcome reception on 14 October 2018 A welcome reception will be hosted by the Croatian Minister of Justice for all delegation members on Sunday 14 October 2018 in Šibenik. Participants are required to wear their access badges. Gala dinner on 15 October 2018 A Gala dinner reception will be hosted by the Croatian Minister of Justice for all delegation members on Monday 15 October 2018 in Šibenik. Opening of the event The Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia will open the High-Level Conference on 15 October 2018 followed by general remarks from the Secretary General, the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Croatia and the President of GRECO and Vice-President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Croatia. The first Working Session of the Conference will begin at 10.30. Delegations are invited (but not obliged) to speak. Heads of Delegations of ministerial rank will speak first according to English alphabetical order. Other Heads of Delegations will then speak in English alphabetical order. Each Head of Delegation will have 3 minutes to speak. There will be a countdown clock in the room. Interpretation during the conference will be English/French/Croatian. Bilateral meetings Rooms will be available for bilateral meetings. For reservation of the bilateral meeting rooms, please contact us via e-mail. It will be possible to reserve the meeting rooms in time slots of 30 min. A room can be reserved for a maximum of 1 hour in total per meeting. Coffee and tea During the Conference coffee and tea will be available at all times at several coffee stations. 4

Communication and media Media coverage and Press Conferences will be facilitated by the organizers on the spot. The official opening of the Conference on 15 October 2018 by the Croatian Prime Minister will briefly be open to the Press for pictures and short comments.
