Students wishing to be Called on these dates are invited to express a preference for the 1pm or 6pm ceremony. All students eligible for Call, and who make a successful on time application, will be ensured a place on the date for which they have applied. We cannot, however, guarantee that everybody will be offered a place at their preferred time on the day (i.e. 1pm or 6pm). If we cannot offer everybody their preferred time, we will give priority to those students whose applications for Call are submitted in full, without error, earliest. Please note that you will not be eligible for Call before the Michaelmas Term Call if you have to resit any of your exams in 2016. The Call in October is a deferred Trinity Call and all requirements for this Call must be met before the end of the Trinity Term (i.e. by the end of July). This includes attendance at the requisite number of Qualifying Sessions. Please find attached the Call Application Form. I also attach a document entitled Call Information. The following should all be returned to the Treasury Office before the stated closing date (please note that we will not consider your application to have been received until we have all of these): the Call Declaration (completed correctly) the Call Application Cover Sheet two acceptable Character References payment of the Call Fee (where required) the Qualifying Session Questionnaire To ensure uniformity, the Call form should be printed single sided (i.e. not back to back) on white A4 paper as this document is bound in a year book, together with the references, for posterity. Call Application Deadlines The closing dates for application for Call to the Bar in 2016 are as follows: Trinity A and Trinity B (July Calls): Friday 27 May 2016 Trinity C (October Call): Friday 27 May 2016 Trinity C (October Call) for Specially Qualified Applicants and Student Members with extenuating circumstances: Friday 26 August 2016 Michaelmas A and Michaelmas B (November Calls): Friday 26 August 2016 Please submit all required documentation to the Inn before the relevant date above. Failure to do so may result in you not being Called on the requested date.

Call Ceremony Tickets As space in Hall is limited, we can only guarantee two guest tickets per Callee. There is a chance, however, that some Callees may be able to bring a third guest. These extra guest tickets will be offered to those students who make an early application for Call. You will have an opportunity to apply for extra guest tickets once you have received confirmation from us that you will be Called. Please note that this will not be until we receive all of the BPTC results from all of the BPTC Institutes and the stated closing date for application has passed. Buffet Tickets The same rules as above apply but as we have more space for the buffet, there is more chance of Callees being able to bring a third guest (and possibly more). Photography There will be an official photographer available to take photographs on Call Day. For prices and further information or to book a photograph package in advance, please visit their website at www.successphotography.com.
