He cited that three families were affected. He noted that there is a committee in place to help these families. There is a drop off spot at the police department. These families have lost everything. Jeanine Yecco, Crest Memorial School, noted there was a dress down day for all of the public schools on the island and CTC and Wildwood Catholic also joined. All donations can be accepted. Mayor Groon also thanked Mayor Rosenello and his family from North Wildwood for being present at the meeting. Commissioner Cabrera began a presentation to our hometown hero, Joseph Maloy for the 2016 Olympics. The Board of Commissioners thought it was appropriate to honor Mr. Maloy for all his accomplishments and to bestow a lifetime membership to our Joseph Von Savage pool. Joe Maloy thanked everyone for their support and gave kudos to the first responders who recently helped with fire. He encouraged people to seize the opportunity. He thanked his parents and remember that other people help as well. Commissioner Cabrera reminded everyone that the local triathlon club is hosting a fundraiser where Joe Maloy is the guest speaker. Joseph Maloy again spoke about the future being bright. Hearing nothing further from the public, Mrs. Gould motioned, seconded by Mr. Cabrera that the meeting be adjourned. All were in favor.
