II. Annotations 1. Adoption of the agenda In accordance with Chapter III, Rule 7 of the Rules of Procedure (TRANS/WP.29/690, Amend. 1 and Amend. 2) of the World Forum for Harmonization of Vehicle Regulations (WP.29), the first item on the provisional agenda is the adoption of the agenda. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/1 2. UN Global Technical Regulation No. 7 (Head restraints) GRSP agreed to resume discussion based on the latest results of work of the Informal Working Group (IWG) on UN Global Technical Regulation (UN GTR) No. 7, Phase 2 and its revised proposals on: (a) UN GTR Phase 2 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2015/34) and (b) a proposal of amendments to the Mutual Resolution No. 1 (M.R.1). ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/61, para. 4 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2015/34 3. UN Global Technical Regulation No. 9 (Pedestrian safety) (a) Proposal for Amendment 2 (Phase 2) GRSP may resume discussion on the final report of the IWG (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/3) and on the consolidated text of draft Amendment 2 to UN GTR No. 9 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/2), incorporating: (a) the flexible pedestrian legform impactor (FlexPLI), (b) the new bumper test area and (c) the removal of the study reservation on the Injury Assessment Values (IARVs). (b) Proposal for Amendment 3 GRSP may resume consideration of Amendment 3 of the UN GTR (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2014/5) on new requirements for head form tests and the revised final report (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2012/2), pending the results of analysis from the expert of the United States of America. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 6 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2012/2 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2014/5 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/AC.3/31) (c) Proposal for Amendment 4 GRSP will resume consideration on a proposal of amendment to incorporate provisions for active deployable systems in the bonnet area prepared by the IWG of Deployable Pedestrian Protection Systems (IWG-DPPS), replacing the Task Force dealing with the same subject, pending decision of the Executive Committee of the 1998 Agreement (AC.3) at its March 2018 session. UN Global Technical Regulation No. 13 (Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Vehicles) GRSP will resume discussion on Phase 2 of the UN GTR, based on the latest results of work of the IWG. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 8 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/AC.3/49 5. Harmonization of side impact dummies GRSP will continue exchanges of information about the ongoing activities of the IWG or of an advisory group of experts (pending decision of WP.29 and AC.3 at their March 2018 sessions) and on the availability of the full set of drawings and specifications, including the user manual of the 50th percentile World Side Impact dummy (WorldSID), in preparation for the final draft addendum to M.R.1. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, paras. 9 and 10 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/AC.3/28) 6. UN Global Technical Regulation on electric vehicles GRSP agreed to resume discussion on the Phase 2 of the UN GTR and on the work progress of the IWG on Electric Vehicle Safety Phase 2 (EVS PH2). UN Regulation No. 11 (Door latches and hinges) GRSP will resume discussion on a proposal (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/11) tabled by the expert from the International Organization of Motor Vehicle Manufacturers (OICA) to amend the transitional provisions of the UN Regulation, following the adoption of the new guidelines on regulatory procedures and transitional provisions in UN Regulations (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/2017/107). ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 52 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/11 (GRSP-62-32) 8. UN Regulation No. 14 (Safety-belt anchorages) GRSP may wish to consider a proposal of corrigendum (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/12), to correct and improve the quality of the figure of the traction device for anchorage strength. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/12 9. UN Regulation No. 16 (Safety-belts) GRSP may wish to continue discussion of this agenda item on the basis of new 10. UN Regulation No. 17 (Strength of seats) GRSP will resume consideration on a revised proposal submitted by the expert from Germany to clarify that safety-belts and components should continue to function after the load retention test (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/4). Moreover, GRSP might wish to resume consideration on a proposal (GRSP-58-28-Rev.1) tabled by the expert from Japan, proposing to align UN Regulation No. 17 to the provisions of the draft gtr No. 7, Phase 2. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 17 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/4 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2017/25) (GRSP-61-19-Rev.1) (GRSP-58-28-Rev.1) 11. UN Regulation No. 22 (Protective helmets) GRSP may wish resume discussion on this agenda item, receive information on the progress of work of the IWG and its Terms of References, pending decision of WP.29 at its March 2018 session. UN Regulation No. 29 (Cabs of commercial vehicles) GRSP agreed to resume discussion on this agenda item based on a revised proposal tabled by the expert from Germany, to provide specifications on how to secure a cab mounted on a test rig and to improve repeatability of the test (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/5). ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 20 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/5 (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2017/26) (GRSP-62-11) 13. UN Regulation No. 44 (Child Restraint Systems) GRSP will consider a revised proposal tabled by the expert from the Netherlands on preventing a lie of belt that could lead to injuries to children using non-integral Child Restraint Systems (CRS) (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/6). ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 24. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/6 (GRSP-62-33-Rev.1) 14. UN Regulation No. 80 (Strength of seats and their anchorages (buses)) GRSP will consider a proposal tabled by the expert from Germany aimed at removing the static tests and improving the dynamic test on seat anchorages (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/10). ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 51. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/10 (GRSP-62-12) 15. UN Regulation No. 94 (Frontal collision) Referring to the recommendation of WP.29 made at its June 2017 session, GRSP may wish to continue discussion on the outcome of research and a possible proposal of amendments that would be jointly prepared by the experts from the Republic of Korea and the European Commission, on certification issues in frontal impact and pedestrian protection of L 7 quadricycles, if available. UN Regulation No. 95 (Lateral collision) GRSP might resume consideration of a revised proposal of amendments tabled by the expert from Germany in cooperation with the expert from OICA aimed at defining the conditions of "door open after test collision". 6

UN Regulation No. 100 (Electric power trained vehicles) GRSP agreed to resume consideration on a proposal (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/7) of amendments tabled by the expert from OICA to amend the transitional provisions of the UN Regulation, following the adoption of the new guidelines on regulatory procedures and transitional provisions in UN Regulations. ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/62, para. 27 ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/7 18. UN Regulation No. 127 (Pedestrian safety) GRSP may wish to continue discussion of this agenda item on the basis of new 19. UN Regulation No. 129 (Enhanced Child Restraint Systems) GRSP agreed to resume consideration on a proposal tabled by the expert from France that covers definitions and provisions for lower tether strap and lower tether anchorages (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/8). Moreover, GRSP will consider proposals tabled by the expert from Spain, on behalf of the Technical Service Group (TSG) on UN Regulation No. 29 on provisions concerning: (a) buckle opening (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/13, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/14, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/15 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/16), (b) maximum height of users of i-size booster seat (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/17 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/18), (c) dummy s head displacement for frontal and rear impact (ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/19, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/20, ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/21 and ECE/TRANS/WP.29/GRSP/2018/22). Securing of children in buses and coaches GRSP might wish to resume discussion on how to secure children in buses, on the basis of new information since the dissolution of this activity at the December 2013 session of GRSP, due to the lack of progress.
