2009 with a cycle of conferences, festivals, seminars, youth movements and workshops, the Centenary of the Alawi Sufi Order was celebrated in Mostaganem (Algeria) and was recognized by UNESCO as a school for inter-religious tolerance and conviviality (191 EX / 3 and continues until 2017, with today s Work-workshop in Paris, France; The Non-Governmental Organization International Association Sufi Alawiyya (AISA), has regularly networked, through a cycle of conferences and workshops, in various parts of the Planet: Namely, in Africa, 2009 in Mostaganem (Algeria); in Europe, 2010 in Geneva (Switzerland); in North America, 2011 in Montreal (Canada); in Asia, 2012, in Bursa (Turkey) ); in North America, 2013 in Quebec, (Canada); in Africa, 2014, in Mostaganem, Oran (Algeria); in Europe, 2014 in Paris (France), 2014 in Cannes and Toulouse (France), 2015 in Drancy (France); in Asia, 2016 in Istanbul (Turkey); in North America, 2016 in New York (United States), in 2016 in Montreal (Canada). AFFIRMING THAT: the Informal Network for Living Together in participating territories, associates, observers or special guests to the Francophone community (Réseau Synergie 17 ODD) is founded today, Friday, May 19, 2017, by the Non-Governmental Organization International Association Sufi Alawiyya (AISA); the Synergy 17 SDGs Network is an open and rich network of stakeholders who adhere to a common set of values inspired, first and foremost, by the Universal Declaration of Human Rights - 1948, the Declaration on the Elimination of all Forms of Intolerance and Discrimination Based on Religion or Belief - 1981, the Declaration on the Participation of Women in the Promotion of International Peace and Cooperation - 1982, the Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace - 1984, and by the various declarations aimed at eliminating terrorism; and the Rio+20-2012 Final Declaration and by the Sustainable Development Agenda review 2030 adopted by the United Nations General Assembly on 25 September 2015, to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to combat inequalities in all its forms, eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure prosperity for all, within the framework of a new 15-year sustainable development agenda; the Synergy 17 SDGs Network is organized around representatives: Non-profit organizations involved, at the highest level, in at least one of the following the 17 Goals advocated by the Sustainable Development Agenda review 2030; States, and local and regional authorities of Member States or non-members of the Francophone Community, that have a firm Sustainable Development policy and actions for Living Together; The Private Sector, made up of companies with a validated Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy in their managerial policy, aimed at raising awareness of the issues of Living Together, non-discrimination and promoting diversity in all its forms; Spiritual, Religious or Religious Organizations working for Peace and Living Together; And, mostly of Citizen (s) adherent to the values of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network, whether they are anonymous or on a well-known path. the Synergy 17 SDGs Network wishes to join with stakeholders who promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network promote cultural, religious or religious diversity and wish to deepen the development of the culture of Citizenship of the world, promote the values of tolerance, openness and act in the direction of bringing peoples together, Peace and Living Together; the Synergy 17 SDGs Network fights the digital, cultural and educational divide and also tackles the fracture of access to the fundamental rights of humans and peoples; 3

the Synergy 17 SDGs Network has decided to act in areas in need of development; the Synergy 17 SDGs Network adheres to the spirit of the Charter of La Francophonie published by the Organization Internationale de la Francophonie (OIF) within the scope of its territorial scope and wants to take action on international cooperation, Supporting the 17 Durable Development Objectives (DDO); the Synergy 17 SDGs Network wishes to develop partnerships with the States and local authorities, the institutional and private players in the regions where its actions are developing; the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network, with development needs of their area, wish to pool their resources and skills among themselves and with the non-profit civil society and the corporate citizen (CSR) against discrimination in all its forms; the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network are committed against discrimination of women and wish to further strengthen the role of women in civil society by giving them more visibility and audibility in order to build a collective, multiple and moderate society together; the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network place an importance on the fight against radicalization and the fight against discrimination based on religion, belief or conviction and call for the construction of a human community capable of helping its members to reject violent ideologies and to flourish with respect for the differences of all. They also renew their commitment to Article 18 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which proclaims, in particular, the right of each person to freedom to manifest one s religion or belief, whether alone or in community, both in public and In private, through teaching, practice, worship and the fulfilment of rites ; the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network work together for the preservation of the historical, spiritual, material and immaterial heritage of local or of the universal dimension, so that the human person of tomorrow is heir to the transmission of this millenary knowledge handed down by past generations; the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network, are already engaged in projects bringing Francophone communities together and elsewhere, and wish to further integrate the global network of the Francophone Community making it open to the world; the partners of the Synergy 17 SDGs Network want to make their training program accessible to their population, particularly the New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT), in this area of Societal knowledge and understanding, and thus promote the bringing together of peoples and cultures. WE, MEMBERS OF THE INFORMAL NETWORK, SYNERGIE 17 SDGs, RECALL the principles proclaimed in the United Nations Charter that the recognition of the inherent dignity and worth of all members of the human family and of their equal and inalienable rights is the foundation of Freedom, Justice and Peace in the world, HAVE DECIDED TO ASSOCIATE OUR EFFORTS TO REALIZE THESE DESIGNS PROCLAMING, solemnly, the DECLARATION OF PARIS, as an ideal to be achieved in a spirit of partnership and mutual respect, CALL on the Member States of the United Nations to submit the INTERNATIONAL DAY OF LIVING TOGETHER to the General Assembly of the United Nations and place it on the Agenda of the United Nations. AND THEREFORE 4

We, members of the informal network, SYNERGY 17 SDGs, through our representatives, meeting in the City of Paris, and having full powers recognized in good and due form, have adopted the present Articles are as follows: ARTICLE 1 This present Declaration of Paris is our common frame of reference, so that in the will to maintain the harmonious and sustainable development of the territories, all the individuals and all the organs of our network, having this Paris Declaration constantly in mind, Through concerted action, to develop respect for these values and to ensure recognition and effective implementation through progressive national and international measures and initiatives. This dynamic is based on a development strategy known as the PARIS STRATEGY. ARTICLE 2 We, the signatory partners, consider the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as the system of values and clear reference of our network. ARTICLE 3 We, the signatory partners, support our approach on: 1. The development and implementation of concrete actions in support of the culture of peace and awareness of the important role of peace in prosperity, harmony and life of the human family, 2. The development of individual and collective initiatives and actions for the detection and early management of the factors that may lead to radicalization and violence, 3. The creation of pedagogical, didactic and think-tank networks for the benefit of the actors in charge of education and youth, 4. The establishment of sectoral working groups in the field of women s rights and the reduction of inequalities in general and in particular between men and women. ARTICLE 4 We, the signatory partners, are convinced that all stakeholders in this Paris Declaration must pool their resources and skills to face the profound transformations due to the alarming increase in ideological barriers, of religious radicalization and withdrawal into their identities everywhere in the world. ARTICLE 5 We, the signatory partners, remain convinced that the dynamics of human development are characterized by the pre-eminence of the roles of diversity, youth and of the place of women in a constructive relationship between genders, generations, regions and cultures. In the same vein, the development of the current Civil Society must place special emphasis on promoting the unrecognized or forgotten female figures, making women s voices heard within official institutions and social events, and give to all discriminated and minority groups the right to be heard and effectively protected from discrimination against them. ARTICLE 6 Our partners and signatories are imbued with and aware of the challenges of our time, we pledge to act in the spirit of this Paris Declaration and to respect the Charter of the United Nations. We are committed to implementing actions, particularly in the areas of education, of preserving cultural diversity, and heritage, science, communication and media. Moreover, we are committed to protecting the planetary ecosystem, the living kingdom and acting for 5

the safeguard of humanity. We are committed to trying to join natural conditions to promote and achieve the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). ARTICLE 7 We, the signatory partners, are committed to promoting recognition of the International Day of Living Together and to consulting each year to make this Day a moment of communion in our informal network and celebration of the culture of Peace with respect for cultural diversity and religious or religious beliefs. This Day will be an opportunity to express our solidarity and our desire to live and take action together in our differences and diversity, thus sharing the values of peace and prosperity, to build a sustainable and united world, one with the other and not one against the other. IN WITNESS WHEREOF the first signatories, duly authorized, have signed the present Declaration of Paris, DONE at Paris on Friday, May 19, two thousand and seventeen. 6
