The purpose of the release days is to provide for professional development as set forth by the Ohio Department of Education Waiver for School Year/School Day requirements. The 10-05-14 OHSAA Continued Membership Resolution 2010-11 It was moved by Mrs. Washburn and second by Mr. Rambo that the Board adopt the annual resolution which authorizes membership in the Ohio High School Athletic Association for 2010-11 as presented below. The Ohio High School Athletic Association Constitution was revised with respect to Article 3, Membership, to make clear the obligations required to be followed in order to be a member. Article 3, Section 1, Paragraph 3, the procedure for continuing membership, requires that the Board of Education or similar governing board in a non-public school or system adopt a resolution authorizing membership for schools under its jurisdiction. Schools eligible for membership are those which include one or more grades at the 7-12 level. It is agreed that these schools will conduct their athletics in accordance with the Constitution, Bylaws, Regulations, Interpretations and Decisions of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.
