MN FCCLA Outstanding FCCLA Program Award Postmark Deadline: March 1 st, 2013 to the State FCCLA Office The Minnesota Association of Family, Career and Community Leaders of America presents the Outstanding Chapter Award to those chapters that plan and conduct well-balanced programs of work. This award provides an opportunity for chapters, through self-evaluation, to receive recognition and to highlight their chapter s success. Those chapters that apply for recognition will be awarded a recognition certificates. Awards will be presented only to those chapters that register for and participate in state conference. Outstanding FCCLA Chapters are those which plan balanced programs of work that include the following areas: Membership recruitment Chapter activities State and National activities Chapter publicity Exceptional accomplishments Important Note: Please attach the following which should be mailed with the checklist if the points were earned in category. A copy of all your chapter s affiliation forms A copy of all award applications A copy of any/ all published articles A copy of any other media examples Picture and description of presentations To apply for Outstanding Chapter recognition, chapters are requested to complete the checklist provided in this packet and return it postmarked on or before March 1 st, 2013. Checklists postmarked after this date will not be considered for recognition.
