Guests: James New Members / Solos: Ram Radhakrishnan was voted in and Solo d, Welcome Ram Treasurer s Report: Wolfram Donalies reported $6,712. in the bank ( $889.00 of the money is for the scholarship fund). Field Report: Field is in great shape, mowing team doing a great job. Discovery Night: Ending mid-september. Pattern / IMAC: Hugh ran the Pattern Contest, 12 Flyers of which 7 were in Basic / 5 Advanced. Future sessions include Frank presenting Covering Options, and Stan presenting Aircraft Lighting. A Spring Work Session will be scheduled to address any updates needed to the Flight Stations, signage, etc. Turkey Bomb Drop Scheduled for November 12 th December meeting will be held at Moretti s / A charge of $5 per member will held control the cost funded by TriVillage. The 2018 Swap Shop is scheduled for February 3 rd Ad has been sent to AMA Election Time is approaching the Ballot will be published in the November Newsletter for December voting. We are looking for new faces to throw their hat in the ring for positions. Northwest Event Schedule Northwest RC Club 2017 Contest Schedule 11/5/2017 Egg / Bean in a Spot - Takeoff with an egg in the cup. - Perform 360 degree turn. - Land for the first time with engine running for bonus points. - Load 25 beans in the cup. - Takeoff - Perform 360 degree turn - Land into a 5 ft square. - Scoreing: If your engine is not running on your first landing, 100 bonus points not awarded. If you land with an agg you get 250 points; for every bean you have left in the cup, its 10X that number. If any wheel is in the 5 ft square, you get 100 points. - You may not advance throttle after wheels touch. - Beginners, from a straight level flight, performs as many loops possible in 2 minutes. Scoring Example: Landed with Egg =250 pts Engine Running =100pts Landing in square =100pts 17 beans X 10 =170pts Total 620pts
