Retail Agency Notification Letter To: AVEK UWMP Retail Agency Notification List Re: AVEK DRAFT 2015 Urban Water Management Plan Attached for your review and information is the Draft 2015 Urban Water Management Plan (UWMP) for the Antelope Valley East Kern Water Agency (AVEK). California Water Code Section 10631 requires a wholesale agency to provide information that identifies and quantifies, to the extent practicable, the existing and planned sources of water available from the wholesale agency to its retail urban water suppliers in five-year increments to 20 years or as far as data is available, and during various water-year types. This water source information is provided in AVEK s Draft UWMP. In an effort to save natural resources, AVEK has posted the Appendices for the Draft 2015 UWMP on our website at: www.avek.org/uwmp.html. Hard copies of the Appendices will be available on request. A Public Hearing in consideration of adopting the 2015 UWMP has been set for June 14, 2016. This public hearing will offer the opportunity for you and/or your agency to submit comments on the draft plan before AVEK BOD approval.
