The title of the project is not accidental, and intends to underline the importance of sharing and welcoming that leads to the happiness of all. Sharing, integrating, supporting those in need and opening the borders does not detract from anything, but adds to everyone, because solidarity and understanding towards others is one of

those things that when you divide it is multiplied. According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM) there are currently 56 million migrants in Europe and this number is increasing. The triggering factors and causes that drive migration are varied and impact all European citizens because the migration routes are different. Migration is often seen as a local opportunity, promoted and supported by governments and various EU programs, but is also seen as a problem, with the consequent growth of the phenomenon of xenophobia and discrimination against immigrants. All of Europe is affected, but Europe is called to operate by virtue of its welcoming policy. Therefore, youth workers must respond promptly to this new challenge, first of all by knowing the phenomenon in depth, starting from its causes, difficulties, opportunities and consequences. European youth workers are called to support young emigrants to integrate into the new socio-economic contexts. The objectives and objectives of the project are: - Inform and raise awareness of young issues regarding migration and reception policy, starting from an understanding of the theoretical framework of migration flows and new migration in Europe and its global effects; - Exchange of experiences and good practices in the field of youth and active citizenship linked to migratory phenomena and techniques used to facilitate the social inclusion of young political refugees; - Preparing young people to face the challenges and opportunities deriving from the phenomenon of migration; - Increase the competence of young people by offering a clear vision of the causes and effects of the phenomenon of migration and thus preventing negative effects such as the presence of stereotypes that become prejudices and, therefore, a collective tendency towards discrimination; - Understanding EU migration policies implemented in the local realities of participating countries and learning best practices; - Promote European cooperation among youth organizations, promote the mobility of young people and support the engagement of young people with immigrants in the activities of the participating organizations; - Develop new initiatives in the field of migration and youth mobility under the Erasmus + program; - Provide peer learning opportunities for participants; - Strengthen the ability of participants to go to their communities and make a difference in their own lives and that of others; - Promote social inclusion and equal opportunities for young migrants and refugees INTERNATIONAL NIGHT The day before your departure (or as agreed), you will present your food and some aspect of your culture. Please bring some leaflets/brochures of your

country, touristic materials, typical music to play and dance to teach, souvenirs and food& snack so that these can be displayed during the international night. WHAT TO PREPARE- IMPORTANT! Every morning the warm up will be done by different nation, so please prepare a warm up session/ice-breaker game (5-15 min) - Prepare one team building game Every country should realize one activity, according to the topic you can choose the activity, the only important thing is TO BE NO FORMAL: Grecia - Know Your Right: discovering the right of being a European citizen Lituania: European Quiz Turchia: About Europe and Refugees Spagna: Between the differences - cultural differences and conflict Romania: European Value Svezia: Priority Of European Union WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU Bring your own towels for your rooms, please. Souvenirs, brochures, music, food and snacks, some typical costumes from your country or some typical things that you can wear during the international night (hat, bracelets, scarf etc ) LOTS OF POSITIVE ENERGY AND A DETERMINATION TO LEARN AND LIVE A DIFFERENT LIFESTYLE FOR A WEEK! You will be accommodated in mixed rooms by nations but not by sex! You will be 6 in the room, each room being spacious and with a private bathroom. There is no possibility to stay in double room. Here are some picture which is located 10 minutes from the office where the activities will take place.

FOOD Every morning we will have a light breakfast consisting of cornflakes, bread and jam, or biscuits with tea or coffee. Italians do not eat a lot for breakfast, so if you are used to eat hearty breakfast, we can show you where to shop or you can visit the bakery just around the corner, but we are sure you will adapt fast and enjoy this change! Lunch and dinner will be cooked by an Italian lady, usually featuring a dish of cucina povera a typical meal made of pasta and legume or vegetable. Simple but tasty!

We will reimburse the travel cost for the partecipants after the project. In some case and in agreement with the organization we can even buy the tickets. But we need the list of partecipants asap so we can do everyhting in time Nearest airport is in BRINDISI! From there we will pick you up by bus if you request so.
